Real Madrid really should have chosen a harder route to the final. As it stands, I just can't give them credit.

Love you, speedy gonzalo x

Arsenal should go for him.

It would be an absolute car-crash. Wouldn't be on him like, but the element of our support that are wet for the geezer are kidding themselves big time.

He's the most anti-Arsenal manager I can imagine that isn't called José.

Exactly. Counterbalance the years of crap lightweight fancy players that have won fuck all and put some steel in the team.

You'd have to sell the entire team as they've been bought because they're crap lightweight fancy players. Imagine Simeone shouting at Ozil from the sidelines that he isn't tracking back enough.

Simeone would win the league with Charlton

I just hope he never visits our shores. Total wanker.

Conte to be sacked in Jan and Simone will take it next season after Hiddink or some other interim wanker shores up.

I think it's high time Sven had a go at our Interim First Team Coach role.

Would love to see Diego in the league, he is for me the best manager in Europe.

Conte's staying at Chelsea for at least a couple of years. He's starting out with a team that needs rebuilding from the foundation and has no cups to deal with, it's the perfect scenario. If he hits the ground running in the first weeks already, then he might even get the title on the first attempt.

We are absolutely miles away from challenging for the title next year. And don't tell me Leicester did it, because on that basis we can basically abandon all discussion of football because it is pointless.

I'm not going to use the Leicster argument, as you say it completely kills any discussion.

I'm going to use the Juve argument on the other hand, as they came 7th for two years in a row and the squad was a mess when Conte took over. I would have said "miles away from challenging for the title" is a good description of Juve's status at Conte's arrival. If he'd somehow got us to Champions League qualification I'd have been very happy, and I think you'd take the same for Chelsea.

The level of the others top teams in the Premier League is certainly higher, but I think the situation has a lot of similarities.

Just have to hope Chelsea have their brown envelope procurement all sorted.

We should do a lot better than 9th, but to be title challengers you need a good defence and ours is non-existent. If he sorts out the defence (which, based on his Juve sides, he is well equipped to do) and gets us up to between 4th and 6th that will be a solid first season.

6th isn't going to cut the mustard as a solid first season at Chelsea. 4th is minimum or he'll be gone, regardless of how realistic that is (it's not wildly unrealistic, everyone else is shit too).

I have a longer perspective than seemingly everyone working in professional football. It comes to something when fans' expectations are too low.

I'm surprised you're not more optimistic. Conte has a great tar just record, especially from coming into a similar situation at Juventus.
I'm backing them to win it.

By win it I of course mean coming second behind Liverpool.

Italy is a pub league these days and Juventus are indisputably the biggest club who naturally gravitate to the top. It's also his club.

I wish him all the best though.

One thing is not getting your hopes up about your club, but jeez you're a right downer. :D

You're finishing in the top 4.

Wimbledon up to League One. I was in Wimbledon earlier today and it was BUZZING.

It really would be brilliant if Wimbledon got promoted before MK Franchise do.

I was reading about MK Franchise earlier when I realised Wimbledon were in the play-off final. It really was a fucking disgrace, that. Not that any of us should be surprised.
