The Copa America is again this year, in celebration of a 100 years since the formation of CONMEBOL. The last one was only last summer and chile won it on penalties against argentina. Wes Morgan to don this with another semi final with Jamaica. Haiti are shit, but hopefully they win a game. FIrst game is USA vs Columbia on the 9th June at 2:30am. Kick off times are between 10pm and 3am in the UK. Slight headache but ill be watching when I can

I think it's largely that people will always remember the great players and forget the mediocre players, so the past greats stick out more while the current ones are still surrounded by the vast majority of more mediocre players. In the past, say, five years we've had Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Xavi, Suarez, Pirlo, Buffon, Casillas, Ibra, Neymar, basically the whole German squad as a monolithic unit (Klose, Kroos, Muller, Schweinsteiger, these players will all be remembered), Drogba, Aguero... a lot of those will be remembered with the same or greater fondness that we remember people like van Nistlerooy with.

The same applies to teams as well, we remember the great teams but forget the shit ones. The same will happen with this tournament.
