Nearly made it with Chesea, nearly made it with Monaco, Greece we'll forget existed, finslly wins his first league title and from what I've seen and read, has generally been a tactical genius throughout. Discuss your love for one of the nicest men in football here.

Loved him from the outset when he joined Chelsea. All that lolarious rigmarole with translators (the 'it's a game of two halves' moment, in particular). And yes, just generally being one of the most genuine, likeable characters there has ever been in football.

If it wasn't for him I'd be emigrating. Thank God for Claudio Ranieri and Leicester City FC.

There is something in the idea that established coaches become better when they calm themselves down. Latter-era Alex Ferguson got by on force of personality alone; Jupp Heynckes rediscovered his winning ways when he stopped being a nutcase; 'LvG' could coast with the Dutch (and has since seethed himself back into bad habits); and Claudio Ranieri has finally done something because he no longer feels the need to shoot himself in the foot every week with deranged tactics and substitutions (even Ronald Koeman has prospered by containing his fat orange ego). It goes back to what niko was saying about credentials (and preferably a club blazer) being more important than the Tactics Truck at clubs over a certain size.

Just want to give him a big hug. An absolute hero in every single way.
