He looked absolutely brilliant for Monaco last season. God knows what's happened this season, he looks like he's operating on a thirty second mental delay at times.

Was he in a free role or something? His Yaya Touré style bursts forward have had their moments (especially against Man Yoo), but everything else he does is a disaster.
Tended to start a bit deeper than Toure would, but he was certainly a more attacking presence than he's been for Chelsea.
The thing that most stood out watching him last season was that he seemed to make the right decision at almost all times, which makes this madcap shit all the more baffling.

Bakayoko seemed less box to box at Monaco to me. He was in a 4-4-2 so couldn't go forward that much. He's looked pretty dreadful each time I've seen him for Chelsea. Gets into good positions but is too clumsy. What a waste of the Fabregas pass (which was).
Every pass of Fabregas' does make me think we fucked up not taking him but I still hate him.
