This. But without the driving and the in-laws.Going my mums for dinner. She’s got turkey, beef, pork and ham.
Combine all that meat with pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, enough sprouts to feed a small village and whatever other veg she’s got in (probably mashed carrots and turnip) and we’re laughing. She’s even got some new big square plates to fit it all on. Can’t wait!
Only downside is I’m driving. Oh and we’ve gotta to the in-laws in the evening to be bored to death.
That part of my day will be filled drinking parts of the three different kegs my Dad has gotten and playing World Cup 98 Monopoly with special day guest The Reid.

My Aunt's house, where she will cook an absolute feast in her four ovens. Usually there's turkey, ham, and beef wellington along with a hundred types of veg, soup of some kind to start, and a swanky pudding that never gets touched.
There's usually 5-7 of us and my Aunt is a vegetarian so they must eat nothing but leftover sandwiches in that house until new year.
