Hollywood directors do have a fairly horrible position - any aspiring actress can be sweet talked with complete lies into bed with the carrot of a promise of a role or big break. Only to not follow through. There will be loads of examples of that from shady decision men, whether that's "rape" or "sexual assault" im not sure.
