José Mourinho is minded to sign a new contract at Manchester United but will do so only if he believes the terms reflect his achievements at the club and its current status under him.

The manager is almost halfway through the three-year deal he agreed in summer 2016. In his first season at United Mourinho won two major trophies, the EFL Cupand Europa League. Claiming the latter ensured the club returned to the Champions League after his predecessor, Louis van Gaal, could guide the side only to fifth place.

Mourinho earns around Ł15m a year but is thought to want a marked improvement on his package of salary and incentives to reflect the success he has brought and the team’s evolution under him.
lol. 15 million quid a year doesn't get you much these days does it?

Timothy Weah (son of George) scored a hattrick for USA U17's tonight, the second was a beaut.

Steve Clarke is the new Kilmarnock manager, and used his press conference to whinge about not getting sufficient applause for his job at West Brom.

They're 7 points off Everton in 16th with 90 to play for. The table won't matter for another couple of months.

In his defense he did have a cracking half-season with us. 30 points by christmas and the following season we were 16th when we put him on gardening leave. Obviously not the time or the place, but whatever.

George took 39% of the vote first time around. I'd say it's nailed on but African politics are ... y'know, fun.

He took the majority in the first round in 2005 (only 28% but still) and then lost to Ellen Sirleaf in the second round.

Three of four opinion polls suggested that Boakai will win so Weah has it in the bag.
