We were never qualifying if we left it to this game needing a result as there's not a hope this side can go away and win a game vs equal-ish opposition. The 3 group games before Moldova are the reason this team will rightly be sitting at home. The only really low point is that they've given that dinosaur another contract anyway.
If the Wales game ends 1-1 and the Croatia game ends 2-2 and the ref doesn't have a breakdown, Wales will finish 3rd due to cumulative yellow cards.
The Ukraine v Croatia game fascinates me. Either will qualify with a win, and has an outside chance of automatic if Iceland somehow fuck up, but a draw will (to >95% probability) eliminate both. If it's 0-0 with say 10 minutes to go are they going to both go 2-3-5 and hail mary it forward?
