I didn't see the game because my dad is an idiot but had a good lol at the result once I saw it.

Not that it fucking matters but whatever, you've got to take these small-time victories over Pep where you can.

Pogba is a class player and once this team becomes actually functional he'll be incredible.

Our biggest problem at the moment is our fullbacks. They are one of the most important positions in football these days and when you're fielding fucking Ashley Young and (as much as I love him) Antonio Valencia every week you're never going to be world beaters.

People moan at Paulp Ogba coming deep all the time, but if he didn't they would probably just pass it nervously between themselves and the 'keeper all night.

Coming deep is ok if you know when to do it and where to be. He looks like someone doing it because he's been told he has to, but he's never going to be a player ro consistently run things in the middle.

Fine, we'll stick with Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling and Kyle Walker. I'm sure they'll do fine. Lascalles has been great all season.

I've just watched the highlights. Sterling must be infuriating to have on your team. His movement and everything is fantastic to make so many chances but he literally can't kick a ball.

I honestly think coaches/whoever must overlook ball striking these days. So many supposedly top, top players are just awful at it, whether it be finishing or set piece taking.

When you see the chances back you wonder whether he was overly mindful of Dave Gayer (remember this game), because he seemed to be deliberately going for the top corners rather just slicing them outrageously. Speaking of which, Gayer is the third best player in the world. Discuss.

Goalkeepers can't be the best anything. If you had a competent central defence he would do half the work he does, and then who cares.

It's a completely reactive position, no goalkeeper has ever won a game (except Chilavert, Rogerio Ceni and Jimmy Glass).

They can probably be the best goalkeepers.

So long as John O'Shea isn't about, obviously.

I mean, I get it. They can't usually put you in a winning position, only keep you there.

Hope Reiss Nelson can impose himself on the game today. Outside of that I don't care.

Reiss Nelson just embarrassed Tadic with his first bit of possession and immediately got a bunch of studs down the back of his calf in return. Welcome to the league.

Is mustafi still a Germany squad member?

I don't think there's been a worse centre back this year.

I thought 'Reiss Nelson' was that German one they were all raving about in pre-season a while back, but that turns out to be 'Gedion Zelalem'. You lose track.

Danny Welbeck missing that open goal followed by scoring that header is very on-brand.

Wilshere has been absolute turd since coming on. He looks like he's drunk.

I'd start Welbeck at the World Cup. His unselfish play could really bring the likes of Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain into the game.

Surely there is someone else to play out wide other than walcott. Sterling on one side and put jesse on the other unless I'm missing a player.

Chelsea really need to bin Conte for Hiddink to ensure an FA Cup at least.
