I read something in the Metro which said Arsenal fans were 'ready to riot and burn shirts if Arsene Wenger signs Man Utd reject Jonny Evans'.
Why? He's a good defender.

Probably the idea that a player who didn't cut it at Man Utd can't be all that.

Sané to Man City is confirmed.
Sky reckon Diamé's been offered a new three-year deal by Hull, but he's also due at ours for a medical this afternoon, so he's got a decision to make.
You'd think one or both of Navas and Nasri will become available now - City have Sané, Sterling, de Bruyne, David Silva, Nolito and Touré as a back-up for the attacking midfield positions, not including any good young'uns they might have.
I don't even know any of these £30 MILLION players. Who the fuck is Sane?

Some next big thing.
I've no idea why clubs at City's (supposed) level bother with super expensive youngsters. Better off buying them for more when you find out they are actually good, rather than have them (most likely) fail to progress because of limited opportunities. For a Sterling and a Sane and any other youth mook they've bought in the past they could now have a Pogba instead. I've no idea if that would be a good deal or not, but at least he's proven at a decent level rather than having had a season or so of game time.
It means that rivals don't have them. The same logic sees Samsung create around 1,100 new vice presidents every year,
I have no idea about this Sane chap, but I recall Max Meyer donning Real Madrid a few years back for Schalke. What's happened to him?
If they wanted to waste a fuckton of cash on a young player they'd have been as well to chuck £50m at Spurs for Alli. At least that would have weakened a competitor.
And not an attacking midfielder.
1 million rules and not one that forces you to post the link when someone's writes "X is confirmed at Y"
.
Any wolves fans on the board watched Sheyi Ojo last season? He's been really impressive this preseason.
Ojo>> Ibe>> Richie Partridge>> Sterling
How could you not know who he is? I bet you're one of those retards who reads Football365 or whatever the fuck it's called just for the next HOT PROSPECT without actually watching any football at all. Shithouse.

Not quite watching a Lyon game and coming away thinking Lacazette was an Andy Carroll-alike, but not far off it.
Ciaran Clark is close to joining newcastle for £5m

Adriano now lives in a Favela.
Fellaini would probably be Sunderland's best player. It also won't happen.
It's a worry that we've not signed anyone, but quite understandable given the circumstances. We need to get M'Vila sorted asap though.
Diame would be great for Newcastle, I've always thought he was really good. Ashley Williams is overrated, but I don't see the point in Swansea selling because he's good for them.
I don't think Rubin want him. He's been training on his own (or with us) I think, and the stalling is finance based in some form.
Btw Weaver, Ciaran Clark?? He's been woeful in the premier. Seems like you're assembling a really good championship squad, but what happens when you come back up?
Is lukaku really on the way back to chelsea?

I was trying to think who our strikers actually are, but the cricketing summer has done me in. Diego Costa... does Loic Remy still play for us?
There's the Belgian guy who's name I can't pronounce.
Batsuashiyiayani.
Ah yes, Batshuayi they call it the blues.
Pogba being in new york has nothing to do with real madrid playing bayern munich in new york tomorrow...
He's been jollying round America since the Euros finished. There was a video of him playing basketball with Lukaku on Miami Beach last week, bizarrely.
I'm sure I've heard of this Alex Pritchard before, but I can't quite put my finger on where from. Hope that reported fee has a lot of promotion related add-ons included, otherwise £8m seems an awful lot for a nobody from the Spurs D team. Hopefully it also doesn't mean Stephens and/or Kayal are going to go, although that looks possible with the state of their contracts. Glenn Murray is going to wreck face this season.
He was at Brentford when they had their brilliant season under Warburton.
I'd missed Newcastle signing Matt Ritchie. He should be shit hot in the Championship.
Hopefully it gets tied up soon then. A RB, ST and another player for you after that?
I'm not sold on Clark - he seemed to have loads of potential at 21/22, but I'm still waiting for him to fulfil it. Still, adding him and Hanley could be a masterstroke given their past leadership and experience.
Is there any chance bringing Pritchard in could make Knockaert any more or less available, Nico/Reg? I think we've soured on him but I'm not sure if Pritchard is a replacement or a partner.
@niko_cee You have PM.
Ming back in goal and Milner at left back. What a summer.

Has a bit of a Faubert ring about it.
Warming the bench, getting paid loads and enjoying glory for little input is probably Sissoko's idea of heaven.
I can't believe it's happening. Remember when they used to buy the Thomas Gravesons of the world? I miss that club.
