What a load of bollocks, i bet you've all made retarded comments in the past. The only difference is no one is recording them.

Exactly, he knew people were recording him which is worse.
Though I don't think he's an idiot, I just think his ego is that enormous that he thought no matter what he said was gospel.
A good time to bring one of the best things the internet has produced back up.

I do like the one about building an airplane, I reckon it's quite accurate.
Me too. I guess Rodgers spews so much shit that very occasionally something quite intelligent happens to come out.

Two posts in a row but this is good...

Johnny GilesI was very critical of him at times because I think he used to talk too much and promise too much. He had this business talk or business speak, rather than football talk.
At times he was like the fella who you'd ask the time and he'd tell you how to build a clock.
Well done Brendan.

Fat Sue will be crying into her pancakes.
I'm a twit
What a massive knob.
Has it been long enough to say that this was a mistake? Sacking him, that is. Not divorcing 'Fat Sue' and making a gimp of himself.
I miss Brendan as Liverpool manager.
Great move with the Times Square proposal. Classic Brendan.
What a jebend.
Klopp is a superior manager and I have a table to post late July for you all.
Why the jibes?
We got Klopp, who is better, so it's fine. It would have been stupid to sack him if we'd appointed CARRA LAD instead, but we didn't.
Has he actually been doing better? It seems that he's getting the same out of the bollocks squad.
He hasn't really, but in the medium-term you'd be far more confident of JURGEN doing a lot better than BRENDAN.
The latter had one good 18 month spell when Suarez went absolutely mental and 'Stuzza' wasn't broken.
Plus Klopp doesn't talk like a cheap motivational speaker and abuse words like "outstanding" and "group" after we've just stormed to an insipid 1-0 loss away from home.
Yeah and remember the time he lost his glasses and made a joke that was good
Listen, Max, mate, subject yourself to Brendan Rodgers interviews over the course of three plus years and you'd be advocating his sacking regardless of what he was winning.
Klopp will get by on his likeability and Dortmund career for a good while yet, even if it continues in average fashion. But I reckon he'll get top four each year after this season's finished.
At whose expense?
Yeah but when he flashes that bright white smile how can you resist?
Nah I rate Klopp. Bringing him in for Brent is a no brainer. But it is interesting the free ride Klopp has had so far, I know it's 'not his team' and it's early but Liverpool have served up some absolute dross in recent months and I can't remember a word against him.
Maybe the pressure will crank up next year becuase the top four will be harder to break into. Chelsea and United will no doubt be better, City have Pep and Leicester City aren't leaving the top three anytime in the next decade.
We have been shite in some of our games e.g. Newcastle, Watford, West Ham. Still, we've trounced City, Chelsea, Southampton and Villa away from home, and we've been getting by with Firmino up front because 'Stuzza' is broken and Benteke is shit.
I'll give him at least a full season before rushing in to stick the boot in, but it was, as you say, a no brainer to sack Brent and appoint Klopp - and we presumably had the foresight to agree things with him before we got on with sacking the former.
We've already signed some lad on a free, so that's next season's scapegoat sorted.
Can't be worse than Kolo & Sakho's Comedy Roadshow.
Yeah, and Klopp has been here 5 minutes.
Just wanted to POST SOME CAPITAL LETTERS in this thread.
Great characters.
I think that post does indeed have some great characters and I'd expect it to keep fighting and bounce back next week.
The group are in great shape and the boys are looking forward to rolling up their sleeves and putting in the shift. At the end of the day, they're a great bunch fighting hand and nail for the shirt.
I'd have supported Brendan having a crack at Chelsea. Great entertainment, it would be.
Every club has a transfer committee, I'd be surprised if any other club is different to anybody else: manager, scouts, analysts, bean counters.
Well there're lots of differences between clubs but you're right that the whole committee thing was overstated.
Real Madrid's president for instance will decide he wants a player and buy him without consulting the coach. That doesn't happen at say, Tottenham.
Yeah, that's fair. I'm sure there degrees of difference at each club - with an underlying principle.
He all but admitted that the owners forced Mario Balotelli on him ('They were thinking this is a £50m player we could maybe get for £16m' lol), which probably doesn't happen at their supposed rivals.
When the Real Madrid chairman decides he wants someone he bestows Gareth Bale or James Rodriguez upon the coach, though. At Liverpool it's Mario Balotelli.
And makes them sell their best players from the previous season, who the coach may prefer.
Is that a reference to Di Maria? It isn't often Real Madrid sell their best players, and Di Maria was being rumoured for sale basically from the minute he turned up there.
In that season they sold di Maria, Morata, Alonso. In the previous season they sold Ozil and Higuain. And don't forget the famous Makelele example.
What they do is very different from other clubs, which was all I was saying.
