Still working away on my predictor as I'm enjoying messing with Python a lot recently.
I've given up on flats at the moment because even though it's incredibly accurate at nailing each horse's run time, the margins are so fine that it doesn't necessarily translate well to finishing order.
Having more success on chase (not really attacked hurdles yet) because the spread is a lot wider. Unfortunately the accuracy goes down as the class of the race gets worse (due to lack of established trends in all runners, plus the inherent unpredictability of the horses at that level). So for now I'm sticking to Class 1 and 2 and unless I have a breakthrough I think that'll be that. A back test on Cheltenham 2024 was very good.
When the horses are declared for next Saturday at Royal Ascot, please may I have your predicted winner in each race? Just for the Saturday.
