Along the same lines as above devices but a good introduction on why app-based systems will die. Need to keep an eye on these LAMs.

25 fucking minutes? Is there a part I should skip to? I'm not watching all that.
The 5 minutes I watched made it look like dogshit (or something Apple could do in an afternoon if they stopped working on whatever they're working on that will be much better) and lol at the idea of it not competing with your phone, who's going to want to carry a phone and that with you?
Reminds me a lot of when I worked at Blackwell in my younger years and our MD proudly announced his deal with a guy that had made a book binding machine. Bind a book in 7 minutes while you wait at a train station. Amazon launched the kindle later that year....
First 5 mins mainly, Boyd, the rest is more product specific which isn't here nor there.
I made it about 2 minutes into moaning about scrolling through endless apps or loads of clicks [reality about 3 clicks, probably about 10 seconds of your time] which seemed a bit rich for a 25 minute spiel.
Our kids will look at videos of us typing into a keyboard like we watch people using zoetropes. And they'll see app-based systems like we see black and white television.
I don't think people actually want to talk to computers all that much.
I certainly don't anyway.
We said the same thing about using a 4-inch screen for everything instead of a lovely functional laptop with keyboard.
Most of us shifted to using smartphones despite our initial preferences for laptops being entirely justified on their functionality (influenced in part by them fostering addiction to these devices).
In the case of this technology, no such underhand techniques will be required, the improvement to our lives will be clear.
Wait, are there people who actually do everything on mobile? I couldn't live without a laptop or at least some kind of larger screen.
Anytime I want to "do" anything, I much prefer a laptop/desktop. But reading content is fine on mobile.
Any current consumer product with 'AI' in it is nothing more than pure marketing bs.
Kill all the machines now.
Huge issue for YouTube if nothing else, it will just be spammed with auto generated videos.
This is what will take propaganda to the next level. The text-based shite targeted the more intellectually engaged sections of the population but this....boy, what a few years we have in store.
And for those who don't immediately think this is the beginning of the end, personalised porn
I’m fully on board for it, it’s mind blowing!
It's cool, but in the wrong hands this shit is pretty dangerous. We are entering a world where we can watch something happen and have no idea if it actually happened or not.
Taylor Swift porn images are gonna be next level.

Just type a prompt in and it generates a full song with lyrics. Crazy shit.
There's a banging song currently on that which is just a pasta and sauce recipe.
Had to bump this to share the worst take of all time:
He's clearly never been to Britain
Hang on, is he saying that people will have an AI prompt in their ears telling them which witty barbs to throw out in conversation?
My first reading was that instead of going to the pub, people will prefer to sit at home and talk to their AI companions, that I could see being true.
I'm just going to google 'ai chatbot murder' and see how that's going to turn out.
He's clearly never had a bottle of MD 20:20.
I feel like I’ve been conned slightly as ChatGPT seemed to dwindle the free features, but I’m more than happy to pay for Plus/premium/whatever cos I use it so much.

Time to invest, lads.
I saw some lady getting offended on Twitter because a bloke interrupted AI, who happened to have a women's voice.
Seriously, not ironic. She was offended by a bloke interrupting some 0's and 1's. #Woke
I was walking around with my phone apparently unlocked in my pocket and somehow Brave Browser's AI was asked about TTH.
I think AI stocks might be overvalued tbh.
It's a massive pointless gimmick and grift by tech bros. Utter waste of time.
We're a Micro Four Thirds cameras forum now?
I've moved onto maxi four fifths now tbh.
Brave browser?
I've switched to Claude for coding. It is incredible
Latest Claude is supposed to be the top dog right now. This shit can change within a monthly basis though.
Yep, just tried it for 10 mins and it's significantly better than ChatGPT. Switched over.
Any good ones to create a logo?
For the time wasted trying to get the prompt right, it would be better spent knocking one up on Canva.

I have no imagination.
