Anyone had their ears MICRO SUCTIONED? Seems to be a new fad. I'm going on Friday to see if my quiet right ear can be fixed. Unlikely cos it's related to a longterm performation, but can't hurt to have them both hoovered out while I'm there. Ideally it will be nice to be able to hear people talk and not have to ask them to repeat themselves while I reposition my good ear to pick it up.
I'm a twit
I had it done ages ago after repeatedly getting a blocked ear and OUR NHS being fucking useless and repeatedly (despite it not working) asking me to pour grease into my head.
Went into this place in London and it was fixed within 10 minutes. Magical shit
Sat down and my knee has suddenly decided it doesnt want to bend or straighten without really hurting. Got a shite coming down the pipeline so it's about to get interesting.
How do TTHers keep getting injured taking a shit?
This was pre shit, after 90 minutes I decided I had to move and it absolutely wrecked moving the joint but I can put my weight on it, just can't bend it almost at all unless I want to squeal like stuck pig. Managed to get to the bathroom, got ice and taken ibuprofen, I suspect I've torn my meniscus
Don't care, you're both on the toiletmong list.
The wipe is part of the whole shitting experience.
Not in some countries.
Speaking of which, is shithand unbanned yet?
You're still on the list.
Was BM the original list entry?
If his kneecap doesn't slide off in August.
Having been pure agony since yesterday afternoon, two car trips and a sit down meal have miraculously cured my knee. Couldn't tell you how, just before I went I was struggling to stand up steadily without pain, and when I got back it's like it never happened.
Looking me best today lads glorious beautiful agony

Drink some nettle tea everyday for the summer. Next year, you will be right.
Eeehhh they are delicious. Just the yearly bout of scleritis, first time it's hit on a weekend so need them steroid eyedrops from the doc tomorrow. Gets me a couple days off work anyway
Do you have RA?
Works well though as the doc and myself are so used to it I just bell in the morning and he writes the prescription without seeing me.
Cheers mate. It is, luckily it was juvenile RA, so by the age of 21/22 my body had dealt with it (was told its 50/50 on if the body 'defeats' it or not as a kid), but I've got the long term effects of it now. Barely any cartilage, swelling etc. Just one of those things and I manage it well now.
Up the?
Doubt it, but that might explain why the Institute of Rheumatoid Arthritis keeps getting firebombed.
Apparently I've slipped a disc. Had a stiff back for a few weeks and then two weeks ago it went to the point I was moving around like an old man, it also felt like my hamstrings had cramp which everyone said was a sign of sciatica. Doctor disagreed because it didn't come with numbness or whatever else and I had anti-inflammatories which helped, although they were the first time I'd ever had painkillers and coincided with us watching Dopesick which was a worry.
Back felt completely fine in the last week with with just the tight hamstring causing me grief until this morning when the back went again and simultaneously the pain disappeared from my leg as if it got bored of my hamstring and fancied another pop at the spine. Luckily had a physio appt booked from the initial doctor a few weeks ago, she said it's actually a good thing and part of it is the pain retreating back to source before fucking off. Sounds like bollocks but I'll take whatever I can get.
You'd never had painkillers at all?
Unless paracetamol or ibuprofen count I've had nothing stronger than that before now no, been lucky I guess.
Wasn't scleritis. Uevitis instead, just back from emergency eye doc. Thirty days of eyedrops an agony. Let's fucking have it wullie, gimps together.
Went over on my knee playing 7 a side last Thursday. Didn’t feel/hear a pop but more of a crunch. After 15 or so mins I was able to weight on it, get to the car and get home.
Had an apt today. ACL tear and LCL sprain Looking at a year out.
Considering I have been able to walk, albeit with a brace, decent over the weekend I was not expecting that. My standard pain level is also quite low and has been since minutes after I did it.
The state of this thread over the last week. We're definitely getting old lads.
Hard to pinpoint exactly when it happened due to the pandemic, but it was around turning 40 (definitely afterwards) when things started to noticeably decline.
Aches, stiffness and bi-focals were all welcomed into the fold and it was clear that the (hopefully) slow-ish road to death had begun.
If I can add to the old man thing and also swing back to the shitting talk, I found it's almost impossible to sit on the toilet when your hamstrings have gone. Footballers must down laxatives and have it fire out like a water pistol to get around it.
Finally managed to get approved for my fancy new migraine medication.
£1100 worth being delivered next week
Hit me up with the details. I've got a Neurology appointment in the coming months.
Rimegepant is the drug.
