The Eliminator really is great.
The Eliminator really is great.
I don't really get why they had all those 5 foot nothing 60kg wastes of time as main contestants when they had a beast like Wesley as a stand-by.
I'd understand if the little lads had super entertaining personalities, but they didn't at all.
They know Chung is the danger man, they're double teaming him.
Jake took some BIG hits.
I don't think they'd have let a contestant have a break if injured back in the day.
Just get up.
Holy fuck, Nitro was up there like lightning.
Chung vs. Nitro is the best Wall we've had so far.
Sabre is quick on the wall but she needs to stop going for the feet.
I think Legend has really grown into the heel thing. He's good fun.
Chung even makes the shit games great.
Chung is the best. A Eunice for this generation.
Fury is the best female Gladiator at the actual Gladiatoring and it's not even very close.
"This feels real"
lol.
Whatever is wrong with Gauntlet they need to fix it next series.
They need to make it narrower for a start, it's too easy if you attack the sides. Nia is the only one who has just run up the middle right at the gladiators.
Should also allow the gladiators to get a bit more physical and hold.
It also used to have 5 Gladiators and was narrower I think.

Looking at this old clip of 'Lawrence-Jean' besting them in 1995, it looks as though the gladiators had a lot more freedom about what zones they went into and when, and there were also five of them. Could be wrong. Hard to judge if it's narrower or not. And 20 seconds, isn't it 30 seconds now?
Come for the historical event comparison, stay for the surprisingly lounge lizard timekeeper.
I think their pads weren't as soft back then too.
Chung
Absolutely left Jake behind.
Nae luck, Jake. You don't get to win the Chunger Games.
Nia really didn't want to land on her arse.
Bit of ebb and flow to that Eliminator and was close-ish in the end.
I'm all for Chung, and maybe I'm taking this too seriously, but you shouldn't be able to win an event that you face different gladiators on 18-0.
How can Viper be this bad at literally everything?
He even looks like a twat on the profile shots.
Nitro is an amazing casting, props. Bet he's every kid's favourite.
Yeah Nitro's good.
And Giant may just prove unbeatable on Duel.
Kerry fucking rapid up the wall there.
"This is a terrible segment move on"
If I had just suffered a huge competitive disappointment and was out on my feet, I don't think I'd want to open my eyes to find Mark Clattenburg giving me a pep talk.
I hope Betti lost, she's annoying as fuck and her performance on duel was embarrassing.
She was as cynical as possible in every event which strikes me as a weird way to approach a TV gameshow. Got her comeuppance in Hang Tough.
I cheered audibly when she moved out of the red zone.
Cowardly twat.
Male eliminator was quality.
Why are all the male contestants complete manlets?
Are they or do they just look it next to the adonis gladiators?
Wesley isn't a manlet, which is probably why he was a stand in.
Definitely manlets to make the gladiators proportionally monstrous. The same way in porn they aim to cast women 5ft or under to make the geezers look like John Holmes.
I know plenty of former second row/prop forward types turned fitness fanatics around the 6'4" mark so find the lack of any in the contestant pool suspicious.
I suppose it wouldn't look good if some rough and tumble man mountain just bulldozed them all on the strength tasks.
