    What does TTH smell like?

We've likely had this before but more threads etc.

I really wanted to gauge if the board preferred roll on deodrant or spray. So please reply with your preference and include your daily choice of underarm protection and aftershave.

I've recently converted to Rock Face, spicy edition spray on the pits and was using Carolina Herrera Bad Boy as my daily until it ran out last week, mainly because I had a huge bottle of the stuff gifted. My favourite right now is Prada Luna Rossa Ocean.

No deodorant crew. Acqua di Gio or Aesop Marrakesh if I'm feeling spicy.

I can’t for the life of me find a deodorant that stops me sweating.

Most recently bought MAXIMUM PESPIREX FOR MEN but it cut my armpits to shreds.

Pitrok doesn’t work. Standard shite like right guard, Nivea, sure etc does nothing.

I don’t smell bad but I’m wet and I hate it. Makes choosing work clothes a pain.

As far as aftershave goes nothing will ever top Creed Aventus but I appreciate the price puts people off. Totally worth it not just for the fragrance but for how long it lasts.

Right Guard does me proud for the most part. I’ve never bought a scent or after shave in my life.

I use those stick anti-perspirants. They seem to be the best for preventing sweaty pits, I've found. There's never a big range of them in my local Tesco so it's usually either the Dove or Lynx ones.

I've never really got on with aftershaves. The smell just tends to annoy me.

Spray. Those roll-ons and sticks just feel like you're already sweating.

Nivea Dry impact roll on and Nivea Cool something antiperspirant. That's it.

It's a mixture of Mahows armpits, Yevrahs dead rats and Jimmy's Chrimbo Paella.

If I ever brought out a scent it would definitely be called Christmas Paella.

I've never worn an aftershave in my life, and buy whichever deodorant spray is at the front of the supermarket shelves.

Usually Right Guard but, like Jimmy, sometimes you just take whatever's on the shelf.

I used to use stick as I preferred it but since starting at the gym when mixed with sweat I wasn't keen on the smell.

I've switched to Lynx GOLD spray which seems to last for ages and doesn't mix weirdly with my sweat.

For aftershave I use Bleu de Chanel.

Any Sure or Dove spray is fine for me.

Aftershave always Mont Blanc Explorer. Gets the ladies wetter than an otter's pocket.

Driclor works, but it will burn your armpits the first few times. You just need to stick it out.

I use L'Oreal Men Expert because the name suggests it really understands me, plus the cans are about a foot tall so you only need to buy one twice a year.

Sure Maximum Protection (clean scent) is the one for the pits.

As for cologne, look no further than Tom Ford. Ombre leather is my current choice.

Some random deodorant (Dove?) spray. Sticks are for deviants.

Aftershave I have some YSL currently but it's usually "whatever smells good at the airport when it's repurchase time". I tend to go for either "fruit" or "water" scents. Boss Orange is a fave

I use Mitchum Sport, I use both a roll on and then a spray.
On a work day I spray in either Explorer by Mont Blanc or Armani Code
At the weekend I normally use Constantinople by Penhaligon’s.

Yep, I used Driclor for a 6-12 month period to combat abnormal sweat and it worked a charm. It did sting the first few times but that was 7 or 8 years ago and I’m basically ‘normal’ when it comes to sweating now. I did use Perspirex once but I think that was toward the end of my issues. Triple Dry was another but it was more like a wet roll on and didn’t seem to have the same benefits as Driclor.

Basic roll on is what I use - Dove is the brand I think.

Armani code all the way here too. I think I've been using it for almost twenty years now. They did have a sport version (I think) of it at some point, which was pretty nice too, but apart from using the small gift bottle I had, I haven't bothered to look for it. My perfume needs are usually satisfied on my birthday or Christmas, so I don't even remember I bought any myself.

As for stick, I like the basic stuff that doesn't smell like anything (Erisan is probably the most frequent brand I use) but lately I've had a blast from the past and been on the CK one stick.

Having had to wash bed sheets that igor has used for multiple days I testify that he doesn’t have a problematic odor but you will have to use extra product to remove the nose bleed stain caused by shit coke.

I use brut deoderant in body spray form, comes in a green can for about £2.

Hugo boss (green?) is what I’ve used for aftershave for the last 10 or 15 years.

The biggest revelation I’ve had is buying a small refillable aftershave dispenser (you get 3 of them in 6ml form for about £6 on Amazon) and filling it with some cheap soap smelling brut aftershave which costs about £5 for a big bottle. Take it to work, nights out, wanders so if you turn into a sweaty mess you can freshen up. Bought a few more recently so might upgrade my colour from black to purple.

I don’t really know. I’ve basically had near-constant sweaty pits and hands since I was about 13. Thankfully I don’t get smelly afaik and my feet aren’t sweaty. Someone [who has it] said they think I have hyperhydrosis but the medication they take for it (oxybutynin) seems to have worse side effects than having to wear two layers to limit pit stains, so I don’t think ill push for a diagnosis from a dermatologist anytime soon.

Driclor can’t be a permanent fix, but it’s honestly made a world of difference. Wore a light blue shirt for work yesterday with nothing underneath it and had zero pit stains. That’s unheard of!

Iontophoresis is work looking into. It's something a lot of GPs aren't really aware of in my experience so try to find out if your local hospital has a service and then see your GP armed with that knowledge and ask to be referred, if it's something you'd consider trying.

I've built up a decent collection of smellies over the past few years. A few in heavy rotation these days:

    Frederic Malle - The Moon
    Creed - Royal Oud
    Jeroboam - Gozo
    Orto Parisi - Terroni
    Orto Parisi - Megamare
    Spirit of Dubai - Durra

That's been my go-to for a few years now. If you think you like it, imagine how the women feel. I'm always getting asked what it is.
