That's a good plan, some decent rewards for finishing those off. I should be free most of this week. Nearly done with the Turkish League milestones in Squad Battles, I'm yet to touch Rivals but the squad is looking strong enough to maybe venture in soon.

I was about to start on the Kubo POTM SBC and I also saw he's expected to be in the Team 2 of the promo. Saved me some coins/untradeables at least if so.
Should new Evo's coming today and next promo is centurions and theres already leaks/concepts on the evos for that.
Evolutions are genuinely the best thing about this game, really loving working towards them and then having some different players in the squad.
I've also been helped this year by some nice pack luck...
That Modric is tradeable too - not sure what to do with him yet. I've also got van Dijk AND Varane untradeable in the club, the former is an absolute beast at the back.
Modric is surely gonna get upgrades so you might as well keep hold of him. He'll be good until TOTS.
I've got a similar amount of pack luck - not many specials but a load of top golds (Rashford, Van Dijk, Benz, Ronaldo etc.). Currently working towards Blanc as I really liked his card in the previous games.

Playing FIFA for the first time in years. What methods are best for generating a decent amount of coins. I’ve found a niche little trading method that’s got me around 50,000 in coins over the last week or so but it’s very labour intensive. Are SBCs actually worth doing? I’m a bit out of the loop on Ultimate Team strategy these days.
Buy low, sell high...
- SBC solution trading - buying players who are listed on Futbin solutions and selling at a markup
- Chem style trading - buying popular players with good chem styles and selling at a markup
- Fodder investment
- Icon flipping
That latest Evo is a bit of a joke. 75k and they have to start at a 78 (ending up at 85).
Theres barely a page of gold cards on futbin the cost more than 75k. Would it hurt to have let people get an 88 or 89?
Or just make the requirements a bit less arduous. They're limiting it to players that are pretty obscure (woo, an 84 Malacia). If the audience for it is just "players which are crap that you can make mildly less crap" its going to sink

I burned all of my fodder and had to spend 70k to do the max 87 icon sbc and got Petit.
I've been pretty good at avoiding shite SBCs. Only done Banini, Rodrigo and Blanc, I think. Club is rinsed but I now have 300k to trade with.
EA have been really tight with decent fodder this year. I'm drowning in 83s but have almost zero high-rated fodder
The TOTW SBC is worth lobbing those into imo

Yeah I was waiting and hoping I'd pack him but he's not appeared for me. Thought I'd rather get cracking on the objectives ASAP so just used the one I'd bought. I think they should become 1st Owner when you Evo them though, weird they didn't do it that way

Enjoying this edition overall, on PS5 for the first time and shelling out for the game rather than just EA accessing during TOTS for the first time since 2021.
Feel pretty shit at the game mind, went 7-13 in Champs, which might be my worst ever weekend. But I’m trying not to obsess too much on this one.
Popped this together pretty quickly. Founder EVO Havertz was a bit of a star at CAM for me for a while, added Cunha during my Weekend League run and now Odegaard with some of the rewards having finished off his SBCs.
Thinking of doing the Box to Box EVO on Llorente, he looks pretty savage with the upgrades.
There was a "leak" for evos today that saw a bunch of CAM's spike. Sold Cherki as he was up at 9k but held onto the rest I have as they had moved a bit but not a lot.
I should have sold my Diallo's though. He was up at 6k. I got greedy. Though I know for him the coins are there.

I've seen no coverage of it at all, but my guesses are:
The evos are behind the power curve
The evos take far too long to upgrade
The pack drop weight is worse than ever
The menu grind is almost non-existent, but...
...The store is full of packs
How did I do?
I'm personally really enjoying it. Taking it easy, playing with Fulham players (using most of my Evos on them). I did play Champs this weekend and it was very sweaty so I might just limit that this year and stick to the Fulham boys.
With regards to your guesses:
- In general, yes. Still some very meta evos you can get.
- Yes (I don't personally mind it as I like a gameplay grind)
- Probably the same as previous editions
- Yes (although they did bring out some upgrades and objectives tied to it so it might be ramping up soon)
- Yes, a thousand times yes.
Nailed all of it. Atleast squad battles are 4 min halves.
Some of the evo cards end up filth but majority end up meh.
But they gave Beckham a SBC, so they are ok for me for a while.
