From a fan of his as well, ouch.

Andretti F1 could be the newest team.
Although the bid is apparently likely to be rejected.
As I'm sure they cover the FIA approval has never been the problem, it's getting the twat teams to agree to let them in that will be the tricky part. Doesn't help that the GM/Cadillac stuff isn't a proper engine program but it's still the most credible bid for years and existing teams should be nowhere near the decision.
Also, fuck the franchise idea, get the grid up to the correct amount of 26 cars then start getting picky about who makes up the numbers.
I bet they start down the too many teams = MORE UNSAFE route to try and justify blocking it.
The safest possible F1 would just be Fernando Alonso going to each track and doing a demo run of some old car with a fuel made out of parma ham.
Apparently today is Quali Day. 6pm, Sprint Shootout tomorrow at 2pm, Sprint at 6.30pm and race on Sunday at 6pm.
Probably the most inconvenient time you can get. Anything between 12-3pm is the sweet spot or anything after 7.30pm is fine too.
Fucking sprint weekends, I might watch Bathurst instead.
3 Sprint weekends in the next 4 races. What sort of scheduling is that.
Why these sprint weekends are not reverse grid, I dont know.
Edit: Sainz agrees
Verstappen can win the championship by finishing top three in the sprint. Awful stuff.
Liberty literally don't care, all they want is more eyeballs on the different days. It's the same principle as spreading out football kickoffs for TV.
I'd be a fan of his for life if he trundles round at the back for the sprint. He's a noted critic of sprint races so there's a non-zero percent chance he could.
There are some series where reverse grid might have some merit, but the current F1 grid is not one of them. It would just be a rubbish DRS train for the whole thing.
Norris looked close to track limits there and he’s went back to the pits. I presume they know he’s fine but who knows
Strulovich should not have a spot on the grid.
Giggles will be after you soon

Far too kind on Perez.
So good.
Although not sure why he's SEETHING so much, his seat is safe.
Brave of a man with freshly surgically repaired hands to go punching things.
Should be another easy double podium for mclaren here. They’re monsters on fast corners. Probably not good enough to beat Verstappen but who is.
Perez
He's an absolute shambles.
Someone take him out back.
Shambolic even without having the lap deleted.
Some of these drivers are horrendous. How the fuck do you go outside track limits multiple times at this level.
That was an ace interview from our boy Lance just then.
Toys out the prams in that interview
Stroll Snr should probably lobby to have Stroll Jr banned to save him the headache of having to sack him.
Just bundle him off to sports cars. You can dress that up as a genuine chance to win Le Mans.
'The wind catching the drivers out'. Lads, you've got a combustion engine.
He's genuinely going to screw the team out of millions when they drop below McLaren in the constructors. Being outscored by your teammate 174-47 is outrageous.
Oh dear Lando.
Quite like the hard white line rule, now extend it to the race and give them 5s everytime they infringe.
5 seconds the first two times, third time disqualified. Drive a more conservative line if you think you're close.
I like it, the miss rule at 200mph.
You'd just end up with Perez trying to win by forcing everyone else off so there would need to be some 'discretion'.
It's a bit of a naff circuit, isn't it? Like a shit Bahrain. Mind you all the flat Arab tracks are various shades of shit.
This is the bike track right?
I imagine great fun for driving qualy style, but for racing maybe not the best.
MotoGP can make any track look great. Speaking of that, I'm still trying to comprehend Marquez splitting with Honda.

It’s good for MotoGP. Not top tier by any means, and I think the night race novelty does it favours too, but it works well enough for motorbikes. The F1 wagons are beyond it though and I think it’s a stopgap to a new track anyway isn’t it?
So basically an extra practice session?
