I think most people will seethe for a while and then get bored of it. Marcos Alonso killed that woman four transfers and hundreds of games ago.

Had he just been acquitted it would be one thing, but we all heard that recording and know the only reason he isn't done now is because he knocked the girl up.
He really should have the decency to fuck off to another country but I bet he doesn't think he did anything wrong.
Marcos Alonso did that behind a language barrier, most casual fans probably don't even know he did it. This will be on a different scale.
They will either have used the earlier statement to test the water and will now back out, or they'll have to u-turn very soon after doing it because the chaos will massacre the club's reputation on a daily basis.
Has Greenwood said anything since?
The Goodwillie case is an interesting benchmark. Has he only been hounded out of every club he's joined because they're diddy teams where THE COMMON MAN's voice outweighs the sums of money involved, or will it be similar/worse?
The true testament to his character. If it was ever in doubt.
That's the other problem the club will face - the only people defending him will be the worst people on that side of the culture war. Jim Davidson, Dan Nuttall, the pro-Russia bots, they'll all be lining up to shill for Busby's boys. That in itself is a problem.
Tremendous effort bringing it up during the height of hashtag Lionesses fever as well. Wonderful strategic thinking from the geniuses at OT.
Man City really are irrelevant. I’ve only just clocked theyre playing in the Super Cup tonight.
Or, you know, Super Cups are irrelevant.
Cole Palmer looks weird.
I reckon there might have been a bit of incest in his family.
Bono to save two penalties.
Kovacic could be bargain of the decade. One of City’s best players already, looks like he’s played there for years.

The company doing Liverpools stadium expansion(and Fulhams) has gone into administration today. Apparently workers were ordered off site at Anfield.
That's going to get messy I think.
Saudi wanting CL places now, sure UEFA will resist that like a crackwhore resisting a £2 coin.
Probably don't really need to post this given that he played 75 minutes of football at the weekend but Reece James has injured his hamstring.
I brought him in to my FPL after the "He's not injured, he was tired" Poch comments. The guy needs to retire. Gusto a solid deputy if offering nothing in attack.
Apparently he’ll be out for months again. No idea why he refused surgery end of last season. His knee and hamstring is beyond a joke. Didn’t really have any injury issues up until the start of last year.
His sister has hamstring issues but she got surgery done before joining Chelsea and hasn’t had any issues since
The seemingly widely held belief that surgery for sports injury = problem fixed is for the most part not the reality.
There are often trade-offs and the outcomes are also far from guaranteed with many of the operations offered. It's not entirely unusual to end up worse off than you were before.
I sometimes wonder about these enormous blokes trying to play football, especially in positions other than centre half. It's really a sport for whippets and beanpoles.
Reece James only ever seems to play against Liverpool.
Also, why are the PFA awards being nominated now? I thought Haaland had already won both.
Think Yao Ming is a perfect example of how these physical freaks work. Eventually the basic mathematics give in on you.
What’s Greenwood wearing?

He's just getting in before Lady Sven takes over the England 'mens' team.
Bloody hell. Scotland have 3 teams guaranteed group stages of some sort in Europe this season but potentially 5 if Hearts and Hibs win again next week.
Coefficient looking real nice.
Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen all will get into the Group Stages. Their next matches just decide if they drop down a level or not. Hibs/Hearts both in play offs for the conference but doubt either get through

What the fuck is Rachel Riley doing supporting United anyway?
She's from Spikey's 'endz' and has cultural affiliation which point in a certain North Londonward direction.
She’s 37. When she was a child, United were winning everything. Glory hunter.

Imagine Riley supporting Arsenal with a season ticket next to Corbyn
Walcott retires: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66536939
Pleased to confirm that our hero is at it again: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66541044
Floodgates really starting to open on the tide of well-earned hate against United.
I guess the only thing we can hope for is a fall-out so biblical that they have to renege on bringing him back, everyone involved gets sacked and we get sold to Ratcliffe.
Short of that I feel like I'm done with United, and I can't see myself caring about another club so probably done with football.
Where are FCUM these days?
I'm a twit
Start going to Norwich or something.
I find going to Brighton to be a far more enjoyable experience without the burden of 'properly' supporting them. All the upside without the weekend ruining gloom [although that is still available elsewhere]. Helps that they're not absolutely horrendous now as well.
