35 year old striker and an almost 38 year old midfielder up against City.
Regardless of age or fitness, Real Madrid's elite mentality is winning out so far. Ancelotti's tactics also help, of course.

Two quality outside the box hits.
The ball looked miles out of play before that goal but what a hit son
Real’s ability to have almost everything go their way and still feel wronged is absolutely unrivalled.
This has been incredibly dull.
I was watching it with a Proper Footballer (who got sent off in his team's playoff final at the weekend, the div) and he spent the whole thing commenting on how slack the City press was. What a joyless sport it is becoming at that level.
He also claimed that Rodri was the best player in history in the deep-lying midfield role, with only Busquets a worthy challenger. I first suggested Matthaus, then Beckenbauer, and he looked at me as if I'd said Dom Joly.
He's no Gilberto Silva.
With away goals now a distant memory a good result for both teams that and sets up the prospect of a cracking second leg.
Listen, dude, I don't have time for parochial long ball knockings. If you're not elite it's about making yourself elite. Decades ago a penniless man in a dish-dash walked across the hot sand, found this unusual black goo oozing from the desert floor, and had a dream: of regenerating east Manchester, of bald men in pullovers, of a four-man press. Jack Grealish. Stonesy. Riyad Mahrez, cutting inside. Goals. Sheets as clean as his nation's conscience. European Cup football used to be reserved for the aristocracy: now it's open to the dreamers and the upstarts. Real Madrid. Champions League, Liverpool, Arsenal, I thought that one of them we would draw, and it is Arsenal. We're lucky to be living through this era. Analytics has democratised the game. Ivy League maths prodigies used to be on the streets, locked out of this sport. Vinicius Junior, man: amazing talent allied to hard work. What could sum up the twenty-first century better than that? Chelsea, the ultimate romance. One year you win the UEFA Champions League, the next year it's all 0-1, 1-3, scores like that. Magical. The characters of the game. Martinez, using the Cup as a penis: funniest moment in soccer history. Ronaldo, Messi, growing the game in the Kingdom. You just wish there was more. You wish it was every week. Fuck the FA Cup. Small sample size. International break? Yawn, mate. Sweden, Poland? These are the tired entities of the past. crypto.com. Google. Pele and Maradona, in the multiverse, big man little man. Flick-ons. Skills. Aramco 4, Everton 1. Booooo. Elite, dude. This is elite.
Good game last night yeah.
Rudiger properly donned Haaland last night
Sounds like his dad donned the Madrid fans though.
No Leao for Milan tonight is a massive shame. Hopefully they win anyway and he’s back to don Carvajal in the final
Dani Carvajal doesn't play for Man City, silly.
City will put 4 past either of these, but this is great for now.
Inter have started really well.
Lol atTottenhamMilan.
This must be the weakest semi-final since that United/Schalke one in 2011.
They want this over tonight.
McManaman is talking shit again. That was never a pen.
Why the acting like that was a stonewall penalty. Fair enough if he grabbed the shirt but his hand barely touches him
Martinez should be booked for diving if anything.
Rio Ferdinand on co-commentary.
That two referees think it's not a penalty, yet the casters are insisting it was a stonewall penalty is quite some effort.
I don’t think he is, I’ve only heard him once. Must be on the usual referee role of popping in every now and then
Rio only popping in for EXPERT ANALYSIS.
It's still better than Michael Owen.
I guess it's a case of keeping him on for that one moment of brilliance but I feel like Barella has been completely anonymous in this game.
How on earth has Krunic got away with throwing a hook to the body? Mental.
Blatant little dig in the ribs in the box there and nothing doing.

Looking at the quality of that game, I'm still frustrated about my Benfica bet.
It was by far and away the best chance for Benfica to make the final since 1990.
Benfica hit a terrible bit of form over those 3/4 games. Plus while they're winning a lot this year, they aren't blowing teams away.
Next season @wullie
I'm a twit
There's always been something a bit unsettlingly gammony about Tindall but this account has now caught my eye a couple of times recently
https://twitter.com/jasontindall_
And I've just seen this:
I've largely stopped watching the pre/post-match coverage so incredible scenes I was completely unaware of.
Tindall is Robbie Williams. Howe is Gary Barlow.
Juve with a seriously late equaliser.
Do the Conference Winners Cup Winners get a Europa League spot next season?
@John Arne, what channel will be showing the Man City-Real game and will I manage to find a bar in Hanoi showing it at that time?
I really hope Mourinho doesn't go to PSG. Reckon he could scam a title with this Roma side if Napoli get dismantled.
How desperate does that sound?Brown offered to join Allardyce at Leeds
Former Hull City manager Phil Brown offered to join Sam Allardyce’s coaching staff at Leeds, but was turned down.
Brown, who has also managed at Preston, Swindon, Southend and most recently Barrow, worked alongside Allardyce at Blackpool and Bolton as his assistant.
“He rang me and said he was going in at Leeds. I asked him to take me with him and he said he’d made his mind up; he’s not gone with overly experienced lads, he’s gone for energy on the training ground,” he told BBC Sport.
