Too late now sadly. I could probably restart the game and be back up to where I am in 90 minutes but don't wanna burn myself out.
The Resi 2 and Resi 4 maps are so good though. Slowly revealing how everythings connected and its so smooth.

Did it end up coming?
I mentioned to the Mrs that I'd likely be buying one of the handhelds in April/Mays pay and showed her one. She's nabbed it as a birthday present idea for me as she didn't have a clue what to get me.
Plus side is it's a guilt free present for me now. Downside is I'm waiting a few more months. I suppose it gives them more time to get new devices out.
I unlocked the Rocket Launcher 30 seconds before the El Gigante boss fight and killed him in one shot which was lol.
Thats how it was in the original. Beautiful, really.
Pulled the trigger on a RG405M + 128GB direct from Anbernic. Pay day .
Do the cards direct from Anbernic include ROMs?

It did. Here's the game list:

And purchase:

Oddly no Mario games on this, or Anbernic's cards. I removed the GC, PS2 as lol it ain't that powerful.and added some of my own PSP, PSX, Saturn and DC games. Also AM2R via port.
Saturn emu is hit and miss but that's the same even with a beefy PC.
Comes with full GBA, N64, SNES, MD, NES, Master System sets. Zelda on DS is in Japanese so will need to manually replace. Had an absolute fuck ton of MAME and arcade also.
Missing stuff like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7 etc. DS jumps from B to P for some reason. Prob ran out of space, bur you can add whatever ya want yourself. DS emu is tricky though as need to imitate the stylus. You can emu in Android by removing OS SD card but with the two screens it's a faff.
Easy as to add and delete as the SD card is structured so its drag and drop.
Thing is glorious, just spent 2 hours on Outrun PSP.

Also any of the 35 series Anbernics have same internals really so it's whatever you prefer.
405 can do basic GC and PS2 but it's a tiny tiny upgrade. 353M has great control placement which was the bonus for me.
I think I prefer the slightly rounded edges and slightly bigger size on the screen and device on the 405. Though I've a few months to wait now so maybe another revision will be out soon.
@Ian the PS5 upgrade of Witcher 3 has this added armor called "Forgotten Wolf Armor" based on the Netflix series which is sleek as fuck.
Just saying, in case you feel an itch.
I think I knew they were doing that but I'm not ready for playthrough number 3 yet.
WWE2K23:
Plus, they’ve given you the ability to import/expert your MyRise player. So if you’re like me and aren’t very good at creating a superstar, just import one!

Couldn’t get it cheap from my usual channels but got a £40 gift card for £27 to ease the cost a little. Deluxe Edition installing.

It's been 3 days of me trying to beat this one section of RE4 that I'm considering just turning the difficulty down for a couple of minutes.
He asks, assuming he'll remember the ins and outs of the game he last played the better part of 20 years ago.
You get stuck in a tiny two floor house and have to hold out.
I DID IT. I now have absolutely no ammo or herbs of any sort.
Did that first try you lemon, stagger and kick.
Had 60 quids worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers wasting away so swapped them for PlayStation credit.
Turtles Shredders revenge for 20 quid and Diablo 2 is on sale for 12 quid so picked that up anything else on the store worth a ganders?
I'm now at what I presume is the Chapter 6 boss where I'm stuck in a tiny room against a guy with big arms trying to get behind him and shoot him in the back. I wish I had saved my rocket launcher.
Is there a bell in the room? I think one boss had a sound gimmick.
Yeah there was a bloke with a helmet all over his face and you had to hit a bell.
Yeah not him.
Gone a bit silly lads
Am now officially half way through Resi 4. Absolute masterpiece. Accidentally hit a point of noreturn and left a bunch of quests in the village undone which annoyed me.
I'm amazed this stuff hasn't come out sooner.
Finished Return of Monkey Island. Quite liked it and thought the ending was in keeping with the series and had a touching note of melancholy but I'm not surprised that the internet had a tantrum about it.
Ori and the Will o the Wisps next I think.
Miles Morales was great so I've gone back to the first Spiderman and now I'm essentially paying a PS+ sub to play a game I owned and got rid of. I've got to a point where I thought I'd completed the main story but instead it's like I've only just finished a prologue, there's bloody loads of it whereas MM was nice and compact in comparison.
The TLDR is: There's an evil corporation called Umbrella that turns people into zombies/zombie like people for some reason. Whatever no personality person you play this time round shoots hundreds of these people in the head over several hours while having to solve geometric puzzles in elaborately designed mansions/castles.
RE4 is very much not a horror game in comparison to it's predecessors. It's an action game with comedic horror tropes. If you like a well controlled 3rd person shooter mixed with a bit of puzzles to break the flow, you should enjoy it.
They change people into zombies because that turns them into Bioweapons. I think that's the flimsy reasoning. Not as good as Dead Rising's "PEOPLE MEAT!"
Are the Trine games good?

I liked 1 as a Co-Op game 15 years ago or whatever. No idea if it's aged well. Awful single player.
Starcraft 2 is so fucking hard. I'm now in the top 10% of players but even getting one league up feels absolutely insurmountable.
I can't even relate to wanting to be that good at an RTS. I remember playing TTH CK2 against people years ago and getting mulched. I think me, Cord and Benny played some of the most boring games of all time.
Then somebody came along, I want to CJay? Maybe Gray Fix? Anyway, they had memorised build orders and had stone walls while I was still excited to find more sheep to harvest.
Super Mario 3D World/Bowser's Fury is on sale at the minute so I've sneaked that onto my Switch. It's good and it makes me wonder just how Nintendo get Mario (mostly) right. Not just from controls and platforming but having just really good level design.
I'm playing the second Ori game and it's absolutely gorgeous. I know pretty 2d games are ten a penny these days but this really is as stunning as it was hyped up to be on release. And is a very good platformer / metroidvania to boot.
Dragging TTH's name though the mud.
Im in the Wharf section of Resi 4 and this sucks.
Did anyone play Donut County when it was on Gamepass at the start of the year? My daughters been playing it and it’s a very nice game. Identical art style to her favourite Apple Arcade game, Sneaky Sasquatch, which was what made her want to play it. You control a hole and must swallow everything on each level, getting bigger with every item. Starts off super easy but then introduces puzzles, like having to light fireworks, swallow it, move under something and they fire back out.
It somehow doesn’t have auto save on though so twice she’s gone back on it and started again. Seems happy to do so though.

I think I played it on Switch. Was good fun while being simple.
New EA Sports Golf thing is a fucking banger. Best single player golf game I've ever played.
So much content its insane.
On gamepass? I'd be up for giving that a try.
