I was in the work kitchen this morning, making coffee, and a colleague walked in. He's not much of a football fan (World Cup England games only) but knows that I 'follow the game'. He said to me, by way of making conversation: "They're saying this could be the last World Cup for some of the superstars, like Messi and Ronaldo." I had no idea what to say. What do you say to that? So I said: "Football heritage." He said "Too true, too true," and walked off.

Spent the next half hour gutted that I bottled dropping the h.

The equivalent at my work place told me that Man United simply have to accommodate Ronaldo as he's the best player in the world, and build their team around him. This was a month or so ago. The other day he said that Messi is overrated and Phil Foden is better.
