Cunts.
Cunts.
But, do you like my main striker?
What version is that, Quincy?
Hmmm, either pay back opportunity or i'm getting done over at home and in europe.
This is how we progressed from the first knock-out stage in the champions league.
My U20s also played today so this is my only keeper. He'll do fine against Juventus, right?
lol. Juventus only had 6 on international duty

I've just finished arriving to 2050. I was hoping some of us would be continuing as staff but I don't think a single person has from what I can see.
Shall I do new fred or do I just post stuff in here?
EDIT: Just seen the new update does stuff to player development so may re-run the sim again later on to see if there's much difference.

Looks like the patch doesn't fix the Asia club teams qualifying for two competitions. Rubbish.
There seems to be a bug where if you create a player with any preference for a job later in their career, you immediately have the option to send them on a coaching course. This option normally only appears for old players, and it annoyed me having the option for a load of 17 year olds, so everyone’s job preference was set to 0.

So I've got the original run to 2050 where everyone has retired and I'm now up to 2040 on this new update. Things haven't actually gone drastically different for TTH FC either time, but there has definitely been a big difference with player development.
I expect to have multiple Balon d'Or's.
So in one version of the save we have a multiple time Ballon d'Or winner, but in the other the best we get is the FIFA Best Goalkeeper award and one of us wins the European Golden Boot.
I can happily post one or the other, or give people their best version of themselves from either.
Jude Bellingham gets over 200 caps for England in both though.
I knew I'd get all the awards eventually.
It’s definitely Luca and Yev.

I'm at work this evening but I'll get on posting some stuff after.
Not good enough.
If you’re simming perhaps, but the menus are already astronomically overcomplicated that adding another option (that will always be rejected, just like the leadership course) is definitely unwanted.
Besides if I manage to play 20 seasons so everyone’s retired, it’ll mean my wife’s left me and taken the kids, so let’s hope I never reach the point where I’m sad our players aren’t doing their coaching badges.

2nd leg was pretty decent too. They did go down to 9 men though.
Semi-final line up.
Currently in with a sniff of a treble. Albeit 3 points behind Inter with 5 league games to play.
It's January 1st. Time for everyone to plunder our players.
The league:
The lads:
Toggle Spoiler
The ones with really low appearances have just come back from loan.

Treble is out the window. 84th min goal. We bottled it.
Champs League = Bottled
Italian Cup = Bottled
Serie A = TBC
Down to 9 men. Look at those bookings...
That's shut the laptop til tomorrow form.
Meanwhile, you all did yourselves proud:
@Luca saved a penalty.
Also I don't want to jinx it but so far the chairman (guess who) hasn't intervened and is happy with me [auto-]rejecting any offers that are coming in. When players get upset I ask why they want to leave such a lovely bunch of lads and then ask if a payrise will change their mind, and every single player says lets just leave it. It's the 8th January so 22 more days to hold out and we've at least retained all 31 players for a full season.

Bollocks.

@Baz you thought about trying the future dated transfer trick for next play through?
Mark accepted a bid for @Yevrah
Phew.

Well the 31st January was an absolute shitshow.
Rather than sell more players, the majority have left on loan. @CJay has been sold and loaned back to us.
Yevrah has gone to West Ham to be a REGULAR STARTER for the team that's 5th in the Premier League.
Look at these outs:
I feel like we've enough of a lead in the league to still win it with a severely depleted squad.
I'm a twit
I just hope Yevrah ends up playing under Southgate at some point in this save.
When the board accept a bid, can you still offer the player out for nothing and get another team to bid, persuade him to pick that other team and then cancel it?
Er, probably.
I did offer the three out who’ve been sold for £0 + 50% profit from next sale but there were zero takers.
One thing I did notice was if someone bid and chairman Mark accepted it, at the same time as someone making a loan bid, there was no option for me to “protest transfer.” Whereas if it was just a transfer bid, I could.
Also sadly Sir Waistcoat has been replaced by Rafa. I applied for the Serbia job, to play @thommo, but nothing ever came of it.

Atalanta : Season 2079/80
A little recap as i've not posted about this save in a year or so. I was at Ayr Utd having taken them from the bottom of the Scottish leagues to winning the Scottish Premier League.
In the summer of 2069 I left Ayr and joined Atalanta who were in Serie B and had never won Serie A in their history.
I've now had 11 years at Atalanta. This is a summary of the past 11 years.
Managed to win Serie A a couple of years ago, but have not been able to repeat it. The league is very competitive. And we have been massively limited with a small rented stadium which the board refuse to buy or buy a new stadium. Trying to compete with the other larger clubs and their income revenue has been difficult.
Italian Cup, as you can see has not been a priority. But we've won it once. And should have done so this year if it wasn't for our meltdown.
Transfers in at the start of this season:
Transfers out:
As you can see, we had a bit of a clear out in the summer as our progress had massively stuttered.
End of Season Standings:
Absolutely gutted. We should have won the league, but Inter had a great season.
We did win the Italian Super Cup though at the start of the season.
Our Champions League journey. As you know, we bottled it in the semi finals. Gutted.
Italian Cup journey. Another bottle job.
The team at the end of the season:
Not a bad squad to be fair and relatively young apart from my right back. Just not good enough at the moment.
My star player and my future star player:
Nearly rage resigned last night, but think i should stick it out for another season.
The issue with getting this far in the game on FM11 is that my manager rep has gone weird and it's very difficult to get a job with another team.
First game with only 14 players, one of which is @CJay loaned back to us, and no right back (@Josh was bullied into learning to play there, while @John Arne remains on the left), was a comfortable 4-1 win against 8th place Boston. Nothing to worry about. You lads out on loan enjoy yourselves and make the most of better facilities cos we're gonna storm the National League next season.

With 11 games left, we've been declared Champions.

@Baz Buzzing for payday when I can pick this up. I think I'll do a test run with god mode, e.g. I will give everyone ~20 year contracts, and give everyone pre-arranged transfers to move to some minnow league when they're 34-35 or so. For one it keeps everyone enslaved at TTH FC, but it also means a bonus DVD extra of seeing what impact the lads can have in, I dunno, the Gibraltar league or something. I might put a poll on here to decide our retirement home.
After a brief hiatus, I returned to my Wrexham save and finished yet another season. To catch you up, last season was our first season in the Championship and while we were expected to finish dead last, we ended up narrowly missing the playoffs instead. Unfortunately we had no money to improve the squad and we were about to lose a valuable player that'd been on loan with us for two seasons in a row, so I wasn't very optimistic. My first instinct was to try and sort our horrible defensive record out, but my early efforts seemed like they weren't going to pay off so I just returned to our unique brand of gung-ho attacking football.
Suffice to say, it paid off, but in a very unorthodox way, resulting in a season full of the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows, often within the same week. We had 9 games where we conceded 4 or more goals, but at the same time we also had 8 games where we scored 4 or more goals. One thing's for sure, the neutral fans were always entertained. In the grand scheme of things, I'd say we deserved our promotion, but Fulham really made us work for it, with us having to win our game against Swansea to guarantee 2nd place. We did so emphatically, beating them 5-0, but Fulham also failed to win their home game so the gap seems larger than it actually was. To further showcase our inconsistency, we won 10 of our last 12 games, but the two games we lost, we were demolished in (both 5-0).
We signed a grand total of 2 players, plus one more on loan. All 3 of them were quite pivotal, with Balmer and Azeez making into our team of the year. The loanee was a striker who scored a very respectable 20 goals, but his inconsistency meant that there would be stretches of games where he wouldn't see a single start. Following a theme that has been a thing for pretty much the whole save, we had players that for all intents and purposes should be plying their trade in like League Two but somehow performed admirably for us in the Championship. In fact, out of the 11 players in that screenshot, no fewer than 5 have been with us since League Two. As always special mention has to go to Mullin, who's been with us since the Conference League and remains a key player. In fact, he picked a 5-month injury early-ish in the season and we really struggled to adjust.
So with all that said, a long summer awaits. We have been given a measly 700k euros p/w to spend on wages (which is a decent 15-20% lower than the current lowest in the Premier League), coupled with a pretty respectable 37m euros to spend on transfers. But I am really expecting it to be rough. I genuinely think we'll finish dead last, possibly with fewer than 20 points, since we are severely lacking in quality and the money/time we have just isn't enough to brings us up to EPL levels. But that's fine. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride and be happy that we're getting money in, so that we can establish ourselves as a yo-yo club before we make it to the Premier League for good.

Bit bored with the usual dynamic of scouting and signing ace regens, so thinking of doing some sort of YDWAWK project but with a different limitation. Ideas so far:
Only players over 30.
Max flair players, so aiming for like 18+ for attacking positions, 15+ for DMs/WBs, 10+ for CBs.
Height, either a very tall team or a very short one.
Only players with teamwork in the 18-20 range.
I think I'm leaning towards the flair one for now, and adding the most eccentric goalie I can find.
