Judging from that performance, he was very poor in my opinion, especially considering the injuries we have up front and on the wings. I've not watched all of United's games this season so it could be the outlier but it really seemed like we were able to put him under pressure and force a lot of mistakes, especially in the 2nd half.

The "he's a good boy" line is probably a bit misjudged (although I think he deserves some allowances for speaking in his second language) but I don't think there's actually anything wrong with the sentiment of what he's saying.
He is meant to give an account of what he has personally seen of the person's character and that's what he's done. He's not meant to say what he thinks about the accusations or judge whether he thinks they are true or not.
