Andor getting really good this week
Did anybody see that Channel 4 programme 'Afghanistan's Top Porn Star'? She obviously needed to get out of her Muslamic life, and lol at her family getting away with trying to kill her, but the circumstances of her life since escaping seem a bit suspect to me. If she had just sort of stumbled into internet grot then fair enough, but there was a definite whiff of being similarly brainwashed by her new partner into it all.
Any tasty footage? I've got an almighty hangover horn and unable to have a release for another solid 5 hours so I really didn't need to be made aware of this slag
"unable to release for another solid 5 hours" - what?
You dirty eunuch.
You must stop being so cryptic Taz.
Nah I don't get it. He's in a situation where he can post on TTH and watch porn but not have a wank?
He's on a promise/got a whore coming round and doesn't want to blow his load before then.
If I had someone coming round then there'd be a tactical wank for sure.
It's not unheard of for me to utilise public/airplane toilets but not today. Glad to report all is well now.
I wasn't expecting that Adam Curtis Russia thing to have so many open caskets.
Everywhere has always been fucked. That's the conclusion I'm getting from part one.
I'm enjoying Taskmaster. Dara O'Briaiaian is surprisingly good.
I'm a twit
No one over 16 should be watching Star Wars, specially not animated Star Wars.
There's a couple in the office spending a three week honeymoon at Disneyland. I can't imagine a worse hell.
Considering one of the busiest threads on here is for the WWE then there are far greater crimes than watching a cartoon.
I would say they're on a par, but atleast rasslin is largely watched with a tongue in cheek.
I'm a twit
Yeah, that's fair. There also the fact that wrestling is now a live event. Goofy's not going off script to say he's old, hurt and works with children. Donald Duck's not going to call Mickey Mouse a jealous old bastard on live TV. Cinderella's not falling from her balcony whilst the crowd shouts "This is awesome! <clap> <clap> <clap> <clap> <clap>
If Disney starts a wrestling federation, we're fucked.
People can also enjoy what they want IMO
Don't be a thicko, Spikey tells us what we can and can't enjoy.
It was a joke about Giggles' arbitrary age rules such as no one over 30 should be having kids.
People can enjoy Star Wars (and Marvel films) if they want, sure. Fill your boots. I'm still going to think they're overgrown man-children though. And that these franchises have pernicious effects on the media industry in general.
I seem to have stumbled into some sort of mid-90s vortex after the NFL show on ITV in the form of The Motorbike Show.
A bit of blue for the dads.
The latest Andor was great as well
In proper golden age TV news, Neighbours has been saved by Amazon. Good lad, that Bezos
They shuffled half the characters on in the last few episodes, and also implied that Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue were moving back to the street, so there might be a casting problem there unless they want to throw Amazon money at it and actually hire them.
I really wish Andor wasn’t over.
Only just realised Gangs of London season 2 is out
That's on my watchlist. I was thinking about adding Tokyo Vice (BBC) as well; it's got that lad from Baby Driver in and the reviews are really good.
Finished Pam and Tommy yesterday. Really good mini series, worth the time.
Watched the new docuseries Pepsi, Where's My Jet the other day. Hadn't heard of the story before and it made for a good documentary. Much like most of Netflix's stuff though it's a little on the long side.
Didn't like the Pepsi executives (most of which were former execs now), they came across as dicks at times and far too much like company men.
Finished The Sopranos over the weekend. It really does deserve all the praise it gets.
Got nothing to watch now though.
It's better with ever rewatch. Better get started.
Detectorists coming back for a Christmas Special
Not a particularly original thought but Andor was really fucking good.
Everything in Star Wars that isn't Jedi/Force/Light-Dark Side dogshit is just so much better than everything else.
I finished The Americans the other day. Overall a great series. There was a point where it was, whilst by no means at all bad, I don't know, just sort of dragging a bit. Seasons four and five maybe. Still very watchable but not as engaging as the earlier seasons. The final season was great though and they really stuck the landing with the ending.
As good a pair of leads in a series as I've seen in quite some time. Absolutely great use of music to soundtrack certain sequences throughout the whole show too, they were consistently really strong on that.
I still need to finish it.
I originally stopped a while back in season 4 and then picked it back up again last year I believe and ended up stopping about halfway through season 6.
Not sure why I stopped either time though as I do really like it.
The new series of The Crown is a bit boring so far, and some of the actors just really don’t suit.
Has Phil arranged the hit yet?
