Few people on a Discord said it and I had Shoretire develop his technicals well first season at United. Went up 2 in dribbling, first touch etc.
Tbf they may not improve much beyond that as only dod a season but it's known in FM AI development is gash so wouldn't be surprised if its just their side that's bugged.
I've joined clubs before and had DCs training corners etc.
If my own development is fine then I’m not arsed. I’ve seen a fair few screenshots of Endrick in the future and he has Haaland type physicals, multiple 20s for his mental but not a single technical stat over 15.

I did have that on mine too, some very weird focuses when I started.
Last year it was regens stopping appearing after 5 years. I did a 20 year holiday save and literally no regens were appearing from any leagues you didn't have loaded so was swamped with just English regens.
They fuck something majorly every year.
I'm sure this was an issue with the regens not developing only a couple of years ago.
The code must be an absolute mess, it's still exactly the same engine as 08 essentially. Just add one line and ten things break.

I didn't get the trial thing on mine, tried to have a look at Sunderland's entire first time just before they were coincidentally due to play us. They all said no and then beat us 2-1 for the insolence

Wonder if the non-development thing is deliberate as a soft cap on how many seasons people can play the beta for.

There was no point limiting the beta to one season by the same logic but they still used to do it.

It just looks like they've misplaced some of the values for development.
The images I've seen have mentals and physicals going up way too quickly. Some 18/19 year olds with the mental attributes you'd expect of a 30 year old model professional.
Probably flying up to account for the ceiling on technical attributes. Have to reach that potential somehow.
Unless I'm doing something wrong, scouting seems utterly fucked. I can't find out how to do a normal scouting assignment (unless a recommendation for one for a competition appears in my inbox) and setting up a recruitment focus pretty much returns fuck all.

Thankfully my main (only?) save will be with TTH where I won't really need to scout, but it would be nice if it actually worked so I could generate a little money making loan factory like Chelsea.

After numerous aborted saves I've finally got into one with Milan. Just after the transfer window and we're hammering the league:
We lost the super cup match to Inter which was annoying, but have Fiorentina in the Semi's of the Italian Cup and RB Salzburg in the Champions League last 16.

Oh and I've not played long enough to judge properly, but I think DS is probably right about your own player's technical stats improving. A load of my players have arrows on their technicals indicating they're improving.
I'll start a new game when the problem is patched either way, but I reckon I can live with it for the beta. Not that it should have ever happened mind.
Milan’s core team are ridiculous on FM. Keeper, Kululu/Tomori/Hernandez in defence, Tonali in midfield and Leao up front.
That Roony Bardghji looks obscene as well but the little cunt won’t join me other than on loan.
If they'll join on loan you can sometimes get them permanently by doing a loan with option/obligation to buy. Or you could on 22 anyway.
Can someone explain how Touch compares with the full-featured game? Does it feel really mobile game-y (no thanks) or is it more just FM-lite (yes please)?

The Scandi’s seem to be a goldmine for players especially if you’re not a properly elite team. Same as the Brazilians, all so cheap and seem overpowered.
Touch was always like one of the older versions of the game before it became too bloated. FM Mobile was the one that was just a click-through waste of time.
He's not Scandi or Brazilian but this guy has been my best find thus far:
£5m although I could have gotten him for cheaper I feel.
I tried to sign him but signed too many under 21 year old foreigners so he fucked off to Italy. Most annoying rule in history.

However, as they offered me the job Leicester City (who fired Rodgers last season and Koeman this season) have interviewed me:
