Yeah I'll be watching it after like a sensible person and skipping all the bullshit.

Walkthrough of some of the features/mechanics
Nothing I saw really altered my feelings about the game. Still want it but that didn't make me more or less hyped.
There's a lot of clowns crying some stuff has been taken out of the game, they seem to want Star Citizen levels of feature creep that mean we never get the finished product.
I'm still not convinced by the look of the gunplay, but it's the bit of the game I'm least interested in so whatever.
Who cares about guns when you can walk around with swords for arms
Delayed once more. December 10th now.
FFS time to reschedule my Annual Leave
I had taken some days off for next month but I've still got a fair bit to use and I can't take any more at Christmas so I think I'll just keep the long weekend next month and have another in December.
I've cancelled my pre-order.
Might as well ask for it for Christmas now.
Gutted at this.
Gonna be though.
Some Xbox gameplay footage here. Looks great.
Hollie
Looks stunning.
The game looks good too.
The open combat still looks pretty duff but I'll be avoiding that as much as possible so whatever.
I might be starting to go off the cyberpunk aesthetic. I don't want future 80's. I want future 2020's.
Yeah I mean Cyberpunk looks super pretty but there's also no one thing about it that I've not seen elsewhere. Which is fine, but by contrast I'm playing Torment: Tides of Numenera at the moment and the Numenera setting (from a TTRPG I think) is more interesting than anything else I've played in ages.
Fuck
Yeah... Looks good!
A week tomorrow
I'm going to lol if having taken a couple of days off the reviews bomb and I don't wanna pay full price anyway.
The IGN hands on seemed positive though.
It's not on my radar, even though I'm probably miles off getting a PS5. I'll probably play Witcher 3 instead. I bloody should.
Is coming out on PC, too?
It is, yes.
Reviews are coming up for this. Ranging from middling to very good from a skim.
Yeah, the majority are basically: "9/10 but buggy". Lots of great feedback on the story/ambience which is the main thing I'm interested in (well, that and the dong customisation)
Jeff Gerstmann wasn't too kind to it. I don't know if he was expecting more but he said it tonally felt off. Like a GTA clone of old with not a lot of character to the world. I'm not jumping into it when I've still got the Witchers to play. That's one thing that probably goes against it: The Witcher fiction was really well done whereas cyberpunk is usually the same tropes trotted out.
Yeah I mean with all the delays and whatnot I stopped feeling too hyped for it a while back but there's nothing I'm seeing to out me off buying. I imagine the worst reviews were expecting more, the best are probably still high on the hype and I imagine the truth is probably it's a 7 or 8/10 game. We'll see though, if the writing / characters / setting are good that'll go a long way for me.
There's other little things as well. Like, they've given prominence to a Trans character but some LGBT guys are pissed that the game offers you binary genders.
Jacking into cyberspace gives you a cutscene that replicates an EEG strobe. To the point where it's potentially seizure inducing.
It does seem odd to me that they've not allowed the pronoun options as well given gender isn't set based on the body you choose. I'd be surprised if that isn't patched in at some point.
The epilepsy thing is mental though, dunno how that's made it through.
Also: pre-load is done. It's just sitting there on my PS4

Simply Games have posted mine
Looks like Outside Xtra's stream of this has to end early because her tits clip through her clothes.
So is it any good?
I'm a twit
Dunno, can't get it. Too many leeches for it to download properly.
Apparently there was like a million people playing it within a couple of hours, which apparently is a bit mad. Could be the biggest game ever.
I'm gonna wait a couple of days, maybe wait for Fitgirl to release their version as that's where I usually get my shit from. Hopefully I'll have the weekend to smash it.
Reviews suggest it's good but you need a good rig to handle it.
Is there only one version of it?
Xbox store seems to just have one for £49.99, which is reasonable enough for me to go in too.
Cool. Bit the bullet and I'm downloading to play tonight.
Where are you all playing? PS4?
Once I finish Horizon Zero Dawn I'm probably going to get on this. But it'll have to be after Christmas I think.
I'm on a base PS4. It's been great (albeit with a few crashes). Slow to start opening up and very much RPG rather than shooter. The world is fantastic, as are most of the characters I've met so far. Braindances are a cool mechanic.
What are people playing as? I've gone with a Corpo chick, emphasis on stealth/hacking/tech weapons, although starting out with a couple of QOL upgrades for extra health.
I'm not very far in yet because I was being very nosey during the all the tutorial bits. Playing nomad lady, looking go to stealth/hacky.
Most importantly I have a nice trilby / jacket combo.
I've barely had any technical issues. One quest wouldn't complete so I had to do a restart but other than some very minor graphical and audio bugs three or four times it's been fine and no crashes.
Im running at 1440p, high/ultra, ray tracing on ultra and performance DLSS. Solid 60fps and it looks fucking beautiful.
Plays really well and is all I've wanted so far. Writing and flow is great. One minor bug of an NPC sitting floating, aside from that been fine.
Like Ian I went Nomad. Every fucker seems to be Corpo.
What difficulty are people playing on and what would you suggest?
Cheers. M&K?
