I think it's called Rust. No, haven't tried any of the new guns, I only use like 3 of them anyway.
Ive only played the Rust remake map in the new update. I havent tried the others yet. I only ever use shotguns and Rust is perfect for it.
Those plants can fuck off. All the way off.
I just played the map in the giant B&Q or whatever it is. That's fun.
Shinobi (the PS2 one) started well but the bosses and insta-kill pitfalls are starting to piss me off. It came with a nice poster that doubles as a SEGA catalogue. I had no idea they brought out an Ecco the Dolphin for the PS2.
The Outer Worlds seems alright, from the first few hours.
Man, the brakes in GT Sport love to lock under any sort of pressure.

I also ended up spending about 30.000 crowns to get the Grandmaster Cat armour, only to find out it has a damn fucking hood which is super annoying in cut-scenes (absolutely fine in battle though). I don't mind it that much, but I really really wished you could switch it off. No mods on PS4 so I'm stuck with it, and I'm out of damn money now.
Seriously contemplating making it my mission to get the Wolf armour instead at this point, but I'll need to amass 30k more somehow! That's 300 rounds of Gwent .
The worst thing is that as I did this, I'm starting to recall having the exact same pit-fall in Witcher 2. Ugh.
The bear armour has a collar that causes some clipping issues with the witcherbeard too.
Literally unplayable.
Yeah it's annoying. But embarking on getting the Wolf School Armour seems a right pain right now, as I'll have to backtrack and get each damn piece of it, as well as amass 30k from somewhere. Fuuuuuuuuuuck.
Yeah I wouldn't be starting a whole new set at the point you're at just out of laziness.
At the end of the day, a bit of forraging, and actually picking up every sword I found for a while, basically got me enough stuff to craft the Mastercrafted Wolven gear. Turns out you can craft them without having the previous ones, at least that one, so that made the whole thing a lot easier. Dyed tuquoise & grey it looks pretty neat.
Might try to also get the Griffin set though, as that would align better with how I play (spam signs & fast attacks, basically). I don't use many oils.
I dunno if it's because i'm a much higher level but I'm sure I had much more trouble with the Imlerith fight the first time.
You'll soon be past me
In fairness, I think I have very little left I can do to drag out the game now. Running out of stuff to do in Toussaint except follow the main quest.
A small side-tour back to Velen to get some missing Griffin gear schematics I needed for that armor, which would be better for me than the Wolf one. Though the Wolf one sure is better looking.
Literally the only reason I went for the Wolf one last time. I just Googled what they looked like and went for that.
Shit I went into the end-game of Blood & Wine, past some point of no return and now it's basically fuck all left here, I think.
This is it
Godspeed.
I read an interesting thing about Hearts of Stone today.

Finished the main game and onto the DLC.

I'm reinstalling DriveClub. I think I want to finish it but I think the servers are going down in March.
Yeah 31st March and it's gone for good.
It's off my list. Finished the main tour up and called it quits. What a complete waste that game is. Looks really nice but it plays like something so, so much older.
Speaking of inadequate racing games, I'm downloading the new Need For Speed.

On my end, I'm officially done now. Report on B&W.

It does feel a little empty now. I don't know what to do with my evenings. I downloaded Red Dead Redemption 2, but just kind of don't feel like getting into it yet.
But all in all, I'd also exhausted the game pretty well by the time I finished it, so I do feel "done" with it.
Though also can't wait to get to the point where I'll be happy to start it again
When they make another Witcher game I don't want Geralt to be involved at all. He's had his happy ending, just leave it and him/that set of characters be.
Either go prequel way before (the Bear School story about how they were destroyed / nearly destroyed taking and failing a contract on a cabal of vampires sounds cool) or go sequel after the end. The Crane School sounds potentially fun.
Hmmm makes sense in a way. You can't really do that twice, so to speak. Then again I'm not ready to let him go yet.
Anyway. WHAT do I play now, gents?
I've done DA: Inquisition, Divinity Original Sin 2, God of War and W3 obviously. I'm downloading Red Dead Redemption 2 (100GB!?) but I'm not quite feeling it.
I'd like something like DO2 really, but there doesn't seem to be much. The sequel to Pillars of Eternity doesn't seem all to great, and I'm not sure I'll have the patience for Tides of Numenera.
Horizon Zero Dawn looks alright, but seems maybe a little lonely after W3.
Any tips?
Did you play the first Original Sin or just go straight to 2? Because if not then there's your answer.
I'm glad to be in Hearts of Stone areas now and fighting things a bit nearer my level again.

I enjoyed this.

Yeah, that sounds like the one, in Deadwight Wood. There are two journal entries you can find: Part 1 and Part 2. I think of the non-sentient monster-y things leshens are up there with my favourites. But yeah, you find some notes and stuff
As for what else to play next it sounds like you're still in the mood for something RPG-y. The problem being that the ones you've gone through recently are some of the best ever and kinda hard to follow up on.
Disco Elysium is a very different sort of RPG but is completely excellent, so I can recommend that. I've not played Tides of Numenera yet. I loved Planescape: Torment but whatever it is that's putting you off ToN would probably put you off PT as well.
I'm already wondering what to go for after Witcher 3. Should go back to Wasteland 2 but it really wasn't grabbing me. Might do Kingdom Come: Deliverance since I got it free on Epic. Or maybe Titanfall 2 for something completely different as it would also kinda tie into the book I'm reading just now.
No, Planescape: Torment is one of my absolute favourite games of all time, and I've played through it several times.
But quite recently I tried it again (OK, this was maybe 4 years ago), and I just kind of found I didn't quite have the patience for all the reading - with no voice acting - after all. Even Pillars of Eternity felt a little dated on that regard. Not quite enough fighting.
It has something to do with how much time I can dedicate to a game on a daily basis. If you only play an hour or two per session, you wanna fight at least something, you know?
Divinity Original Sin 1&2 got that just right, IMO.
Disco Elysium might be cool, but I can't find it on PS4.
It's worth pointing out that Disco Elysium has no combat in that sense. There are things that happen through actions in the dialogue but no actual fights.
I might give Greedfall a go at some point. It sounds a bit sub-BioWare if you consider them at their peak but probably doing a BioWare game better than they currently do themselves.
I'm starting Yakuza 0. I hear it's amazing, so.
You are in for a treat. AND THEN THERE'S THE SEVEN OTHER GAMES.
SEVEN? sheesh. I have xbox tho so I think we only have the one tbf haha
Ok I started with Horizon Zero Dawn yesterday and got basically through the tutorial. So far I'm not really liking it, it feels a little shallow somehow. I think it's the character design and animations that seems a little off coupled with very sort of short dialogue options.
But also, I keep getting pissed at the controls because they aren't the same as the Witcher and I keep like jumping instead of attacking or rolling etc.
The first "boss" or difficult enemy I encuntered killed me easily, which almost made me fuck the whole game off (unlike Yev, I don't like a game that occasionally bests me very much, especially not early on. I paid for that shit, I wanna be all-powerful bitch).
I loved it. It's definitely worth sticking with.
Hearts of Stone finished for the second time. Still one of the best chunks of RPG story ever. O'Dimm is superb.
COD Warzone is out at 3pm today. It looks good with a lot of new features. Its also free to play with three man teams.
I'm slowly getting to grips with Horizon Zero Dawn although the controls are still super confusing to me, I keep making mistakes.
I also constantly die, even on the easy setting. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it takes me about 50 arrows to kill these big flamethrowing machinamals.
You need to use the bullet time and target weak spots. Pick off the scout ones and then croak the larger ones.
COD Warzone is very enjoyable. Lower health that Blackout means you can put people down at a quicker rate. Matchmaking was great as you spend a lot of time in the lobby trying to find games. Managed a win as a trio in the second game
