Of course Cum Towns biggest audience is aussies.
At first I thought they were awful people but quite funny. Then I realized I was just sitting in on in jokes of awful people.
Nick Mullen is clearly an absolutely broken human being which is part of what makes him funny. Outside of that it's terrible.
Probably over thinking I reckon. It's just a silly podcast to zone out to.
Cum town in a nutshell

They have added a stand up show case after the live show. Completely sold out Australia.
More All Ireland stuff on Second Captains? I thought it was done last week.
Don't even download it today @phonics.
Got tickets to the Second Captains end of year show and forgot that the Mrs got us tickets to a bloody gig the same night
When is it? I might take them off your hands and pop over to Dublin for hols.
I'm not Smiffy, I won't even remember what your name is in a week.
Fiar play @Queenslander this is a good bit

I've been sucked into an Athletico Mince wormhole of late, you have to trudge through it sometimes but the high points are out of this world.
This is cumtowns finest.
After a different podcast hit their 250th episode, it made me realise I've been listening to Football Weekly for 12 years. There are podcasts out there with better runtimes than most historic TV shows.
Listening to the Giant Bombcast has cost me over 42 days of my life.
Saw Cumtown Live with the 3 of them all doing stand up after.
Bought some shirts and said gday at the end and they are so nice. Nick's eyes are even more dead in person.
Probably the best one off podcast I've ever heard. Genuinely funny throughout:
Americans on podcasts don't half drone on. YouTube videos as well. I think it's their massive budgets proscribing the need for an editor.
It's more the way they speak, exploring every subclause to the very fullest of its potential.
The host of the baseball podcast I listen to, Joe Posnanski, is horrendous for that. Every time he's about to say he doesn't like something he spends about thirty seconds whiffling about how he isn't saying it's necessarily bad, and he's not saying nobody else should like it, and he's sure it's actually good if you're into that sort of thing. At least half of what he says is qualified into meaningless.
Which one is that? I listen to Effectively Wild, which is monstrously geeky but the two presenters are so likeable (despite also talking like that) that they pull it off.
'The Poscast'. It's Joe Posnanski, who writes for about a hundred different baseball publications, and Michael Schur, who made Parks and Recreation amongst other things. It's about half baseball and half entertaining babble about other things. Sounds similar to yours in that they're both enormous nerds when it comes to statistical stuff, but they carry it off well.
The full archive is on Spotify.
Having just switched back to Android, I've just realised I have no idea how podcasts work on here. Is there an App I can use to download and store them all like the Podcast one on iPhones? If not, how do you listen?
Pocketcasts is the one I heard recommended but I remember them all being crap. Spotify and Stitcher might be your best bets.
I use something called Podcast Addict which seems to work pretty well.
+1 for Podcast Addict.
It turns out 'Google Podcasts' is a thing, and It's basically the same as the Apple one.
I just switched to Podcast Addict and it's great. I used to use CastBox, which was a massive pile of shit.
One thing that boggles the mind with all the Podcast apps I've used is that none of them seem to have a 'anti-chronological' play format. Which considering how many 'episodic' podcasts you get now, seems weird.
Yeah I cannot stand that. I listen to episode 4 and episode 3 plays after it.
All the apps are made by people who don't listen to podcasts.
I've never had that with Pocketcasts.
Podcast republic lets you sort in reverse order. It's the best app I've used for podcasts generally actually.
@SvN
How does John Brewin keep appearing on every podcast I listen to? He's not funny or entertaining, he's not well connected for insider information and he holds the exact same opinions as the majority on everything so what's the USP outside of 'being a bit Northern'?
Googling him he doesn't appear to have a job so probably needs the money.
I am really sick of thirtysomething east London dwelling journo football takes, I have to say. Tell me more about Dulwich fucking Hamlet.
Do we have a TTH podcast?
Veganism and Rugby on todays Second Captains podcast, I'll give it a miss.
