I'm just going to tell you all right now, I'm keeping Michael Thomas next season
I'm just going to tell you all right now, I'm keeping Michael Thomas next season
Pleb's shitters might have the most points this week
This is diabolical.
Saquon better pull up trees.
I'm a twit
Should've stuck with Andy Dalton.
Just checked Mahomes points in TTH. 49.84
All looks done in the work league and TTH. Dynasty looks like I picked the wrong QB again. Dans Dynasty is still up in the air. Though that Goff TD helped.
Pleb had Cousins, JuJu, Kelce and Moncrief all score at least double their projections
It would also be nice if the Cardinals remembered they had David Johnson can actually catch.
That last drive might have saved me in both the TTH league & the survivor pool. OBJ needs to score less than 21.62pts, so hopefully he doesn't run wild tonight.
I need Penny and the Bears to combine for -25.9 points or more please.
So Penny to fumble loads and Seahawks to go mental with other players scoring.
All scoring is done in my work league, odd to have no one playing beyond midway on Sunday. Bottom scorer last week, to top this week. 119 - 76.
TTH sees me carried by Mahomes, but aside from a monster game from Lockett, stick a fork in it.
TTH Dynasty was looking bleak, but a late flurry by Tate has brought me back into it. I lead by 13 with Howard to play, Zach has Barkley and Robinson. It's going to need a poor game by one of his two, but it's at least a chance.
Dans Dynasty I'm 40 points ahead, he has Wilson and Beckham, I have Barkley. I'll need a fine balance of Barkley points to win here and not lose the above.

I won one league by 1.8 points
Being 0-2 in the dynasty sucks because both times I was basically undone by one big play. If I could find even a semi decent RB I would 2-0 but instead after 5 RB games my best score from them is 5 points....
Landry will do you well. Browns aren't likely to go up by a lot in games and he's a star receiver.
McCoy will be though. The Bills look awful and every team they play know he's their only real weapon.
Plus his ribs are fucked.
Yeah. I'm hoping derrick Henry remembers what it's like to score and I'll bring demaryius Thomas off my bench.
Kenneth Dixon is getting dropped Mahow unless you got a decent trade offer for him
For someone on IR, wont play again this season and probably wont play again for the Ravens?
I'll give you my whole team...
Need a kicker in TTH standard
I hear the Browns have signed a lad.
A bunch of prominent HoF guys have written to the league to demand health insurance and an annual salary for life. They claim that as the league made $14bn last year they can spare some.
Threatening to boycott all future ceremonies if they don't get it.
EDIT: Meant this for the NFL thread but this will have to do.

Salary for life seems a bit fucking cheeky for a bunch of people making $5m a year, but health insurance is completely fair.
LOL at skipping the HOF ceremony being a huge threat though.
Another trade in the work league, not mine this time, but Julio Jones traded for Diggs.
What why?
I'm a twit
My crap dynasty team in Dan's league actually won a game thanks to Big Ben, lol.
Talent wise, Julio is the better receiver but for some reason Atlanta can't grab the concept of just throwing it at him and letting him catch it.
Diggs will likely end up more consistent, whilst Julio will score 4 or 5 points for 3 games then bang out 30odd in one game.
Pick'em results time.
Not a great week for @Limoutsonik, who managed to pick almost every game wrong, failed to get any points in the player predictions, and topped it off by being too far out on DJ to score any points. 6pts, I'm afraid
@Pleb had an okay week with the picks, grabbing 8pts there before nailing the Bears as the top DST, however a big miss on David Johnson means he finishes with 19pts
@Sir Andy Mahowry took an early lead, dominating the picks & being the only person to nail the Game of the Week. He was also spot on with his Travis Kelce pick, but completely whiffed on David Johnson, finishing with 22pts
I squeezed ahead of Mahow, despite completely fucking up the Game of the Week, as I kept up with the pack in the picks before grabbing points for Ben & Gordon, and getting another handful for DJ, but 23pts was not enough to topple this weeks winner...
@Gray Fox also scored 8 from the picks, but won it with points for Ben & JuJu, and a fantastic 9pts on DJ, finishing clear at the top on 27pts

@Baz & @thommo both picked the Bengals game correctly, but didn't pick the rest, so they can claim 100% pick accuracy this week.
Third again?
That consistency.
But fuck those of you who have finished above me.
I'll get the week three pick'em up tomorrow, but just I'll throw out a few options for the player prediction & see if one stands out.
Patrick Mahomes
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Carson Wentz
Josh Gordon
Gio Bernard
Minnesota DST
Antonio Brown
Greg Joseph (the new Cleveland kicker)

I'm thinking one of the top three, although I did just remember the new Browns kicker
They would if they actually used David Johnson.
2 targets for one of the best receiving RBs in the game right now
Just got home & re-counted. It was actually 19pts. Also the only person to pick the Jags, so well done on that one.
---
We all made it through the survivor pool, although both @Gray Fox & I just about scraped through with New Orleans & Denver respectively.
---
@Pleb won the daily league for week 2, beating out @thommo by just over 2pts, however @Baz still has a 20pt lead in the overall standings after his monster week one.
---
Week 3 pick'em coming shortly.
Who picked up DeSean Jackson?
Mahow? Potential keeper there
So I'm actually thinking of dropping the Eagles D and picking up the.... Browns
Thursday is our waiver day, and I've moved to full time streaming of the QB, so the defence may as well follow. The Bears are still there, but I am priority 7 so I doubt I'll get them.
It's odd that I'm now considering Bortles and the Browns D as solid starters.
I like how many comps are running side by side.
I'm a twit

The #1 DST this week will be...

This week, Ryan Fitzpatrick will score...
I've put in for the Bears first, will take the Browns if not.
In other news, has Matt Breida featured as a trade-for target somewhere this week? I picked him up and stashed him when McKinnon went down as I believed him to be the better back than Morris. That stat line is now playing out, but I've just got 2 trade offers from 2 different teams in my work league for him.
Jack Doyle for him(this is merely him opening up trade talk, not a serious offer), the other is Shady McCoy and Robby Anderson for him. I'll not be taking that offer but he does have the likes of Conner and Mike Evans would I could flip the offer round on and maybe go 2 for 1 on him.
This brings me to the question for the group. What would you do in regards to Lev Bell and James Conner?
The Bell owner has now lost 2 weeks running in close contests, where basically his RB has let him down. But given the current situation, would any of you trade for him? Or would you rather use the doubt on trying to grab Conner?
Currently I wouldn't bet on Bell coming back before he absolutely has to(week 10) but what are the odds they'll be happy paying him $14m to sit a whole season?
It's probably about the perfect point to nab Bell now. The price will be quite low but the owner will not have got to the point of "might as well keep him now I've had him this long." But would anyone here do it?
