The more I play God of War the more I love it. I like that I need different strategies for different enemies, it's visually fucking amazing and the story is seriously good.

I dropped the difficulty down on that. Not a fan of the mobs they throw you into.
Holy hell.

Sadly I've finished the brilliant story. Still have fucking loads to do though.
I see The Golf Club has got the PGA Tour licence now.
Awesome. I hope that means some official courses.
There's some TGC official ones but I'm not up on golf enough to know if it's a real course or just something made by the developers.
There are no official courses in TGC2. There are many many created ones, which some people go to insane lengths to actually do.
I played the beta of TGC 2019. Its absolutely fucking brilliant and everything they wanted 2 to be, which their publisher, Maximum Games, fucked up massively. The new swing is better, albeit easier, the ball actually rolls realistically, bunkers are a cunt to hit out of, and there's no liar putts that I saw.
If they've made putting judgeable and even done nothing else then I'm in.
It always has been but lets not go over that again.
Gran Turismo Sport update
167 of 322 races completed
53 of 91 race wins
47 of 65 pole positions
41 fastest laps
Still making progress towards the trophies I need. The daily races have now switched to weekly races which is annoying. I got lucky last week at Suzuka was a track that was part of the system. Managed 30 races last week with 22 wins. If it matches me a good track, I can do well but if I get a back track for a whole week. Im going to struggle.
Even if I don't touch the online on GT Sport, I've got my £12's worth. It's a little more like a Gran Turismo with the single-player stuff. Although I have three slightly different Hyundai Genesis' in my garage. I did get giddy when I got the Isle of Man TT Subaru WRX.
Anyone else really looking forward to Sincere getting that prestigious Platinum trophy?
I'm a twit
He'll pussy out of it.
They'll announce GT7 and he'll lose interest.
He better record the moment and share it.
I've still got a long way to go. Those online trophies are just the tricky part but there is still a grind to level 50. You need 2.5 million XP in total to get to level 50. Im currenty at level 33 with 100,000 XP. You get 750 XP when you get pole postion, win and get the fastest lap for one race.
You do the maths.
I wonder if you could math out the experience with some easy single player races.
You can. You can get anywhere between 5000-8000 xp for 18 minutes work in a single player race which will cut the time dramatically. Still a grind but it should be achieved before Jesus death day.
I just did the Math, if it took 322 races to get to 100k. Sincere has to play another 8,000 races to hit 2.5m. This next part doesn't seem right but I did 8000 / 52 if he did 1 race a week, it'd take him 153 years to complete that trophy. If he played a race a day it would only take him 21 years.
edit: I've just seen that Sincere says he's level 33 with 100k and level 50 is 2.5 million. I think you've got your numbers wrong there bruh. There's no way level 33 would be 4% of the way to level 50.
Yeah, he's got to be wrong about how much EXP you earn per race.
I also think he's got his XP gap wrong. See the edit.
Hmm weird, I have a graphic in front of me that says 250k but everything says otherwise.
Sincere here's a guide: https://www.gtplanet.net/easiest-way...y-xp-gt-sport/
From everything I've read trying to work out how such a fucked up trophy could be in the game. The answer is to play Blue Moon over and over and over again. The shittier a car you use but still win, the more XP.
His numbers aren't wrong.
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threa...-level.364538/
From 46 to 50 you need (1’226’000) more than from 0 to 46 (1’117’707) lol, although their use of apostrophes (the fuck?) instead of full stops is really annoying.
There apparently was a glitch in 1.05 were you could finish a certain race in about a minute by reversing down the pit lane but it's out now. That's how people who have the trophy got it.
My favourite trophy was the XBox one where you had to kill someone, a teammate and yourself in one life so you just had people charging, getting a kill, turning around and shooting you in the head and then grenading themselves and quitting. You'll be surprised to learn the Turok multiplayer scene never really blew up.
XP grind is real. Tgose glitches have been patched and im aware of the blue moon grind. 5000-8000XP for about 20 minutes of racing is currently the way to go.
I will tackle the XP once ive finished the online part. I got the platinum for GT5 which was much more difficult and a grind. You need 5 million XP on that one with a similar ranking system.
The commitment is commendable, to say the least.

These weekly online races have been kind to me so far. Last week it was Suzuka as one of the three races. Now its refreshed, they have given me Interlagos
Week 4 Suzuka results
35 races
15 wins
12 poles
Week 5 Interlagos - in progress
9 races
5 wins
7 poles

UFC3 is at £20 on the PSN sale. I got UFC2 for a tenner and really just played a full career mode through before uninstalling it, anyone know if the career mode in 3 makes it worth doing the same or if it's better elsewhere?
Well the career mode in 3 is better, although I still prefer the Undisputed series career mode.
None of you cunts playing Dead Cells then?
Enter The Gungeon is currently on my playlist at the moment
I'm thinking about it.
phonics in being correct shocker, my man
It's also a great argument against Dark Souls/Bloodborne esque combat. Animation cancels are cool and should be encouraged.
The developers themselves describe the combat as 'Souls-lite' so I'm not sure they'd agree.
Its fuck all like Souls, unless including a roll these days means a lazy Souls comparison can be chucked at it.
Lol at that first deleted post, Phonics. Calm down you jumpy prat.
'You desperately need to learn to hold yourself back when you think you're correcting someone.'
This is particularly good.
You delete posts with the comment 'I can't be bothered with an argument' and he still goes on it.
Fuck off, you weren't even correct in the first place you dull twat.
You made a post having a massive go at me and expect me to ignore it because you decided afterwards you couldn't be arsed? That will be fucking right.
They do describe the combat as I said, so I was completely right in the first place. Not my fault you saw that as reason to go off your head.
Game Dev compares itself to one of most popular franchises in it's marketing material. I couldn't give a fuck what they say, as DS says, it's not true.
The reason I go off my head is because it's constant in every fucking thread I post in, I make a several sentence post and you drill down into one part that barely matters to the point I'm making so you can go AKSUALLY and it's so fucking dull.
I deleted the post and you still can't hold yourself back from 'Actually...'ing it because it's the only thing that defines you on this website. It's so fucking tiring feeling like you have to correct yourself constantly when you and I both know what I'm talking about.
The devs can describe it as Final Fantasy on acid or whatever, it doesn't make it so. Play it and see.
SI says FM19 is 'The Dark Souls of management games'. Devs pump out any old shit to sell something.
