Ahem, The Stephanie McMahon Women's Battle Royal of Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Sports Entertainment.
Get the word HISTORIC in there and you're on to a winner.
ZSJ v Tana in the final should be a 5 star classic
I really hope ZSJ is winning, would love to see him vs Okada.
I'm pretty livid I stayed up until 2am hoping to see The Undertaker and had to settle for Kane.
'US Marshals'
Even more lol that they didn't make them learn the Miranda Rights and thus had to read them from a card.
Can't believe Bray Wyatt dissolves in water.
The Ultimate Deletion match
I have no idea how anyone can like this Broken/Woken Hardy gimmick.
Hopefully we never see any more of this feud.
I blame TNA and Dixie Carter.
I haven't seen the WWE version but I'm assuming it's worse than the TNA effort (almost by default seeing as the feud has been decidedly mid-card and they were never going to give it the time plus it has the awful Bray Wyatt in it).
In which case is it the first time TNA has done something better?
Daniel Bryan cleared to compete as a wrestler by the medical staff
It's a shame they didn't wait until Mania or at least tonight and make it a surprise. But great news. I cannot wait for AJ v Bryan.
Daniel Bryan Really pleased for him.
Straight into a Wrestlemania match involving Shane, Zayn and Owens?
Bryan vs Shane. Of course Shane is going to face Taker, Styles and Bryan at three consecutive manias because why not.
Wasn't his contract up soon? Miraculous.
Great news about Bryan

September it looks like.
Imagine if Shane landed one of his punches and it truly ended him.
Trouble is landing them though.

It did knock Orton down though.

Ultimate Deletion was utter wank, though that's not surprising.
Hope Bryan's not shit by the time he wrestles again. And hopefully we get him vs. Miz to pay off all that stuff last year.
I can't even remember the last time I was actually hoping for an Undertaker appearance. One match a year after your opponent has a feud by themselves for a bit? Just bugger off and retire.
It's taken a bit longer than I expected, but SvN is finally becoming worn down.
I feel like WWE had no idea why the Final Deletion worked in TNA. They just wanted one of their own and shat the bed with it.
1. Matt's gimmick was fresh and weird.
2. Jeff was playing it straight and the two could work well together.
3. Build. Not some, "Next week, this is happening." but actually stringing Matt's broken gimmick for weeks before building to the actual main course.
4. Context. TNA needed the Hardys on TV but they were away on the compound. So they filmed there and Matt got creative.
5. Even more context. TNA doing something like this looks desperate and new at the time. Like a last throw of the dice. WWE doing it just seems like a retread.
6. WWE tried to cash in on this before with the House of Horrors match.
So, yeah, what were people expecting?
I'm amazed it was not only signed off for WWE TV but was the main event of a Raw leading up to WM, especially when they had Michael Cole all but apologise for it beforehand as if Vince was washing his hands of it all. On that basis and the fact it was pretty faithful to the original it was way better than what I was expecting (basically everything gimmicky that Bray Wyatt has ever been involved in)
So who are we thinking will be Boatman's partner?
Popular opinion seems to be Elias but I'm thinking it could be Big Cass (ugh), Samoa Joe or Johnny Gargano. Could also see them putting Bray in there.
You could tell that Daniel Bryan was fucking loving it.
Anyone other than Ellsworth will be a disappointment.
Ellsworth can fuck off and die.
I thought the Bryan stuff was handled pretty much perfectly. You get to see him do a few things but you don't blow the catharsis load right off the bat. I really hope we get that Bryan / Miz feud somewhere down the line.
Meanwhile on Raw, Angle can barely fucking deliver even the most basic promo these days. Did he break himself that much? Or, given a once-excellent talker like Foley also frequently ballsed up his lines, do some of the guys off've the past just not deal with scripting? It's a sorry state of affairs either way and any enthusiasm I had for his return is long gone.
ZSJ v Okada is such an interesting match up.
I'm hoping WWE doesn't drop the ball by secretly putting Bryan in the Battle Royale for Mania and thus wins it.
We can only dream
Not a chance. They're setting up a tag match, Shane and Bryan against Zayn and Owens.
It's going to be the PPV where a singles match just isn't enough.
I wouldn't even be surprised if they went Taker v Kane v Cena.
Bear in mind he hasn't wrestled for years.
I imagine he'll just carry on as if he hasn't taken a day off, like when Shawn Michaels came back.
WWE sounds neat!
Also, I don't understand much of what he's saying but Taka Michinoku being Roberto Rodrigues is great. Gedo ripping it off after the match was a nice little 'welcome to the big time lads'
Roll on yet more more preposterously named shows.
Gedo does a good job putting the rest over the roster over. Unlike a certain female McMahon.
Japanese City + Genisis is next.
Meltzer reckons Bryan isn't coming back as just a part-timer but doing a reasonable schedule along the lines of what Orton does. So not knocking his pan in at every house show like a Sheamus or Ambrose but doing his share and wrestling a good number of TV shows and most PPVs.
Hard to spot what Zayn was doing in real time but that's a great bit of work.
Those are the things you don't spot but are cool when you see them.
I really wanna rewatch HBK / Foley at Mind Games. I listened to the Edge and Christian podcast and loved their chat about the worked botch.
Get Rollins power-bombing him into a turnbuckle / barricade / something. Baptism of fire.
A knee to the middle of the forehead should sort him out.
Apparently Drew Parker got messed up big time at Progress live at the dome. I’m avoiding pictures until I can watch it proper.
I'm a twit
I decided to try the latest Mixed Match challenge for some reason.
I have no idea why they are pretending that it is included for Asuka's streak and should Miz get pinned then it's over.
They've never included any tag losses in which she wasn't pinned/tapped so it's fucking annoying. I hate the flip flopping they do all the fucking time.
Edit: In case anyone was thinking of doing the same, don't.
You know Asuka/Miz will win as they're including it in THE STREAK, the matches are shit and it's just more of Corey fucking Graves.
