I only heard last night about the "poison pill" contracts the Seahawks and Vikings used on each other back in the day. I wish they didn't ban that, sounds hilarious.

Shit, that's great.
Yeah we need those back.
So since the dust has pretty much settled for free agency and all, what are people thoughts for must gets for the new fantasy season?Eagles and Rams musts as DEF?Fournette as the first RB to get?Garoppolo and Cousins top 5 QBs?Landry as a top 5 wideout?Jimmy Graham as the top TE?
No to all of that.
I'll probably not think about the fantasy until at least... oooh, maybe 12 hours before it happens.
Alvin Kamara will get monstrously overdrafted. I’ve seen people saying he’s the third pick in PPR, which is staggeringly hilarious.
The Browns will be a bunch of guys who all take away from each other, and Tyrod will still be Tyrod.
Graham will stay roughly where he was last season, Fournette will still miss three games with injury, every 49er will get the 2017 Bucs treatment, and Cousins will be no better than he’s ever been.
I can sort of understand it in PPR, it's too high but yeah.
If people are drafting him that high in standard they're fucking mental.
What your guys take on David Johnson?
He’ll be a second round player, and a top 8-12 back. People seem to think Mark Ingram is going to vanish & Kamara’s going to run wild scoring 20pts a game all season, but I don’t see why they’d want to change it up when it worked so well last season.
Nobody’s that productive as a lead back, and who’s to say our line will even be as good next year? He’ll probably get similar numbers, but spread out over a full season.
I’d love to be massively wrong on this one though, obviously.
What would you have thought of him if he’d been on the Browns last season?
Josh Sitton to the Dolphins, with Mike Pouncey looking to be heading out the door & being replaced by Daniel Kilgore.

I’ve already seen one of the NFL.com lot pick Alvin kamara as number 1 in PPR... utter bollocks.
He's going to be so overrated this year.
He'll score well but it will be at a price.
Doug Martin has signed for the Raiders.
Jordy Nelson may also go there but the Saints and Seahawks are also in the mix.
I’m looking forward to a top ten of Kamara, DeShaun Watson, Tyreek Hill, Adam Thielen, Josh Gordon, Patrick Mahomes, Dalvin Cook, Allen Robinson, JuJu & Jimmy Garoppolo
Also, Doug Martin to the Raiders when they already have Lynch & eighty other guys is odd. Maybe Lynch is done again.

Don't forget the overpaid yet barely known Ryan Grant.
McCourty (plus a 7th) has actually gone to the Patriots for a 6th round pick.

Nelson signs in Oakland who cut Crabtree.
Please don't let us sign Crabtree.
ASJ to the Jaguars too. It's finally picking up after almost a full day of "this player you haven't heard of his restructured his deal to give this team $2.57 in cap space".
In the most Ravens news ever, Ryan Grant has failed his medical and the deal is off.
That is so fucking amazing.
I'd be stunned if we didn't make a major push for Michael 'Sorry ass, gold chain wearing dickhead' Crabtree now.
You can take McCown for first round picks if you want Mahow
1 pick in the first 5 rounds and then 2 in round 6.
We also need an offensive lineman and probably a TE.
The Saints owner has passed away.
Not sure why they are pretending Reggie Bush is the best player of all time on NFL Network in response though.
He was 90, to be fair, but it's still sad news considering he's owned the team since 1985. Also owns the Pelicans, so it's a big blow to NOLA sport.
Tavon Austin is staying with the Rams, however the 4 years & $36m left on his original contract have now become 1 year, $5m with a further $3m in incentives.
That’s a hell of a pay cut
Further highlights just how mental that contract was.
Jeff Fisher should never be employed again.
Crabtree is visiting Baltimore today.
You won’t offer him, he’s good.
Or we'll give him something stupid like $100m guaranteed.
Burfict facing a 4 game PED ban now
Grant's agent, Rocky Arceneaux, would disagree. Arceneaux told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the wide receiver has been working out, and running routes. He also said his ankle was cleared after a second opinion from Dr. Robert Anderson.
"If there were a game tomorrow, Ryan would be able to play," Arceneaux told Schefter.
Heh.
I reckon they saw the absolute backlash that the signing got and faked something.
On the subject of moves that have been cancelled for medical reasons, Breshaud Breeland’s deal with Carolina is off.
Also, Oakland are sticking with the move to 1998 football by splashing out on a FB & a long snapper
Crabtree to the Ravens, done deal.
3 years, $21m with $15m of it over the first 2 years and $11m guaranteed.
Less than Ryan Grant was going to get, lol.
Oh and lol at Burfict:
Patriots have signed Jeremy Hill & Adrian Clayborn. You can go ahead & pencil in 10 TDs for Hill & 10 sacks for Clayborn then.
Vikings have signed Sheldon Richardson for a year, Raiders have signed Rashaan Melvin for a year, and the Eagles have cut Vinny Curry. Also, we've re-signed Alex Okafor. Kelemete's gone to Houston though
The Bears have matched Green Bay's offer for Kyle Fuller, so he's staying put.
Curry had to go unfortunately. We're walking a very fine line with the salary cap.
This will all come to a head when Wentz has to be paid. We get both him and Foles for less than $20m combined.
Ryan Jensen has joined Tampa
Four-year, $42 million with $22 million guaranteed.
Makes him the highest paid center in the NFL. Considering he did nothing for us prior to last year (he was a backup guard who barely played) that's pretty impressive.
