If Lukaku wants to take free-kicks then whatever, but if he's even going to mis-control the ball as it bounces back off the wall... Sell.
Englandish.
EDIT:
"McTominay was born in England, but has Scottish ancestry and has stated he believes his international future will be with Scotland rather than his country of birth. He has attended training camps with the Scottish youth sides, but has not yet played for Scotland at any level"
Mahow is right.
EDIT2: How the fuck did I do that?

Scottish Grandparents.
Escudero is such a twat.
Does that 'gentlemans agreement' stretch to picking up youth players from others among the 4 British teams or is that only for naturalised foreigners?
Jesus christ Sevilla are a bunch of grizzling, cheating little cunts.
Why are they not bringing on Ben Yedder?
This is like when they had that appalling series of games against Lille.
Rashford looked a better player three years ago than he does now.
What a tramp Navas is.
Loleeds.
They have looked alright since Rashford came on, even if he hasn't actually done anything, because not having Juan Mata pootling around thirty yards into the pitch gives everybody space to move.
United must be glad they got rid of the manager who played boring football.
Does that go down as a good result? Sevilla are a dangerous team to basically be trying to outscore at home.
It's alright lads, the return leg is on my birthday. We'll shit 'em.
That must be up there with the most boring games I've ever watched. I ended up barely paying attention while I messed around in Excel.
Also, Sanchez has one goal (a rebound from a penalty he missed) in his 6 United appearances so far. Wasteman, as Sincere would say.
He's disrupted the 'harmony', according to Twitter.
And Sanchez doesn't mind, if he doesn't, make the team
He's on a noodle pot, he's doin' alright
He can play the honky tonk like anything...
We should be playing Sanchez on the right and Martial on the left.
I'm not normally one for all the stat-twats nonsense, but look at that pass map. The shape is diabolical.
No shape or cohesion.
Still better than van gaal.
This has been good result from a Liverpool perspective because United will have to go all out against Sevilla three days after they face us in the league. That means we're probably guaranteed a dreary 0-0 with the United equivalent of Kalas turning up for his one and only game of the season.
#somehowabout?
There will never be a funnier game of football played than that Kalas one. I think it was even better than the Gary Neville sex noise Nou Camp game.
What's so bad about the pass map? Mata drifts around so you'd expect him more central than whoever's on the left, and likewise for Pogba being higher up than the guy next to him.
The fact that Antonio Valencia is literally our entire ring wing, and he's not prime Dani Alves which makes us pretty much non-existent on the right (which is definitely the case if you watch us). The shape is totally imbalanced and just doesn't work.
I think Mata on the right is fine generally as he links up well with everyone and helps outnumber the opposition all over the pitch. Having someone who can break on the right would have been better tonight, I guess, since they were looking to sit. But I think he trusts Mata defensively more than Rashford and Martial.
Players moving around can't help outnumber the opposition? You better tell all those world class footballers to stop trying then. It's a primary reason why players like Mata play "on the wing".
No, that isn't what I was saying. I was saying that in the specific example, Mata does not move around the pitch for Man Utd outnumbering the opposition and creating an advantage. He sits centrally leaving our right wing non-existent and not achieving much.
Our attack is stilted, shapeless and pretty much shit. It's obvious to anyone watching us play. It's all well and good theorising about how it definitely should work, but it isn't.
It works in theory, but after watching it for a year it goes two ways. Either they don't need to pack the midfield against most teams that they play, so he is pointless out wide in those games (but it is not particularly obvious because he is still good enough to have some effect); or in the games where they do need to pack the midfield they can play three actual central midfielders, and then he is also pointless out wide because he offers no width or counter-attacking threat.
EDIT: Actually the third way is where they play a midfield two and expect him to come inside as well to help out, but that just guarantees that every single attack goes down the left side, whilst also hauling Antonio Valencia and thus whichever poor cunt plays next to him out of position (usually Chris Smalling, who hardly needs anything else making him worse).
My mistake.
I disagree on that if you mean generally and not tonight specifically. At his best he's great drifting around and getting involved in all of their decent moves. Didn't do anything tonight, when any of Lingard/Martial/Rashford might have worked better.
Agreed about the attack as a whole. It seems their play is dictated pretty much solely by whatever lineup is chosen that week, whereas the other top teams have a defined and practiced way of playing.
If we had a great attacking full-back on the right, this might work. But we don't and it doesn't. Honestly our attack looks sooooo shit, the shape CLEARLY isn't working. Even those few games early in the season where we won 4-1, we scored 3 goals in the last 10 minutes when the opposition collapsed.
I feel like that could go on for days.
Carragher absolutely fucking hates him.
I didnt realize their time at Liverpool crossed as much as it did.
Rashford needs to step his game up now you feel. Welbeck was considered somewhat of an ordinary player during his time at man utd. Yet welbeck in his first full three seasons has scored more goals and assists. Rashford still has half a season left to complete a full three and he also is younger than welbeck was at the end of his third season.
He can be wasteful at times. I didnt watch the game. Is he still losing the ball a lot in the final third by trying to skip past players? He
did that at arsenal on the regular.
Isn't that basically the story of every single young English forward talent with "bags of pace and an eye for the goal" that has comes along?
Season 1: Woah who's this guy, he looks like the next Owen!
Season 2: This guy is so good, he should really get more games!
Season 3: Fuck it, this guy is never gonna amount to anything
....
Season 13: (playing for West Ham or Everton) Damn, this guy never realised his potential.
The entire team are playing less than a sum of their parts. It's not a Rashford thing, it's a team thing. They've completely lost any form or style of play - it's toilet.
And let that be the end of the racism argument.Originally Posted by Sol Campbell on not getting the Oxford United job

That might be the bigger issue in not getting hired.
He's an arrogant prick but he did have a point.
I feel like a white Sol Campbell.
(Although I’ve not got AIDS or ever had Ashley Cole’s Sony Ericsson up my bum.)
I'm a twit
He should try for some jobs in Germany.
I'd rather have Sol Campbell than Paul Heckaday.
You should have bolded the part where he complains he can't get experience then admits he refuses to drop down the leagues to get it.
