No. They were alright for a stage about 3/4 years ago, but they have regressed a lot recently, imo. Iran are far and away the best Asian team.

Here's what I got
Mine has Iran knocking out Argentina, France and Croatia on the way to a semi-final defeat by England. Like a Guardian fever dream.
It's a shame that there isn't ONE decent centre-back in the entirety of the Asian teams. Japan and South Korea have some great players in midfield, but then you have the likes of Maya Yoshida leading the defence for Japan, and two unknown's for South Korea.
Given we're going to be eye-bleedingly bad I'd rather we drew a group with some heritage in it so at least the occasion will be a spectacle.
