Lesser spotted Lazar on the bench tonight I see. One for the twitchers out there.
Biggest game tonight is Bayern at Schalke. The beginning of the decline of BM hegemony
Markovic is still at Liverpool!?
It also feels like he's been there longer than Wikipedia tells me he has.
Fucking hell a midweek football thread?
This place has gone bonkers
He'll still come good!
We've been so irritating so far this season. I'm almost ready to take our Loven and co myself.
The Patrick Thistle mascot takes me by surprise every time I see it. It's such a mental thing.
Legal action pending
Good to see Flani Alves back
Good to see Gomez in the middle, considering that's his position and his secondary is left-back, yet he's been rotating with Trent on the right.
Flani Alves.
I'm a twit
On the off chance any of you are watching us make a dick of it against Thistle, keep an eye out for a little Asian chap waving a union flag from behind a fence in the corner. He's Abdul, the Pakistani EDL supporter, and he's an absolute headbanger.
First start for Izquierdo, woo! Good test for two kids in centre midfield, too.
This is the game Sturridge should have played in (as opposed to the weekend). He'd probably already have a hatrick.
Also, Leicester to nick one through retarded defending before the break.
Andy Robertson makes me smile.
I had just typed "Robertson looks quite good" but that was rubbish.
Surprised at the lineups these teams have put out. Especially with Liverpool playing in Europe next week.
It's a manifestation of the world's nightmares.

And look at the state of this too:

This solanke chap is the next frank nouble.
Will end up playing in league 2.
Pretty much as expected for Liverpool. Coutinho needs games, Oxlade-Chamberlain hasn't started a game yet, the two regular midfielders were rested at the weekend. I think Wijnaldum could have sat this one and had one of those other two play in midfield to make some space for Woodburn to maybe get a start to give them some pace in attack. Game's also made for Sturridge, but maybe he wouldn't like that, and Klopp obviously likes the look of Solanke.
That's the chap. He spent a month walking around Govan with a little charity tin to pay that fine, and has been known to turn up at the Grapes bar wearing a tshirt with his own face on it.
He was trying to get a bit of aggro going with an Asian Thistle fan earlier called Manpreet. 'Pakora Toes' was the insult of choice.
I reckon he's genuinely unwell.
This game is made for Danny Ings lads. His return, 2 years in the making.
Hey look, it's groundhog day.
Chamberlain is dreadful
How much was that Oxlade fella? He looks rubbish.
Only Ward, Woodburn and to a point Robertson come out of that looking anything but bad.
Woodburn needs putting in the first team asap.
Leeds game has turned mental. 2-2 but it was 1-0 Leeds in the 88th minute.
Barcelona wore shirts paying tribute to Dembele tonight.
It would be pathetic if they did that for Messi, never mind some child who's only just signed for them.
He's not even Welsh and he's playing for them already? He definitely is a retard.
Whilst he is completely free to play for whoever he wants - it does seem strange to pick the country of you grandfather, given he was raised in England, all his mates are mostly English... he's English. Wonder whether he "feels" Welsh, or associates with being Welsh. Strange.
You could understand if it was years ago and they were hard come by but if he wasn't playing for Wales, he's highly enough rated that he'd probably have an English cap by the end of the year.
Do you want the possibility of caps at a nation that struggles to quarter finals? Or would you rather take guaranteed caps at a nation that had their best tournament showing for half a century?
Wales is the bigger adventure.
Or maybe he feels Welsh.
Maybe, but doubtful. He just blew his wad too quickly.
Was at the Leeds game last night and didn't see until I got home but at the end of extra time, there was a police man that came on to the pitch and told the ref not to allow the penalties to be taken towards the Leeds fans. Our manager was obviously a bit confused and pissed at the situation but just let them get on with it. Never seen this happen before and wondered if it does happen a lot but we just don't see it on TV or at the grounds.
Why would anyone want to play for England if they had the option? It's a toxic mess.
Because the alternative is Wales.

Only just seen this. If Neymar has his legs broken and misses the World Cup it will be richly deserved.
Sounds like bollocks.
I find it eminently believable. He's clearly a cunt.
Daniel 'Dani' Alves having to babysit him is pretty lol.
It's no different to my local area. I loathe the fuckers who consider themselves English because they happened to be born 10 minutes in the opposite direction yet spent their entire lives in Wales, raised in Wales, educated in Wales....you're Welsh.
I think if the language was more widespread in North Wales then it might be different. The year I left High School is the year they made it compulsory as far as I recall. You do just 'feel it'.
I thought the United team looked a bit strong, but it turns out Burton Albion aren't in the Conference anymore. When did that happen?
