He said he browses TTH a bit but it seemed like he was dying then lost time for it. I gave him a link to this place, but I don't think he's fussed.

I found someone I know on reddit recently. Flicked through their history and all I gained was knowledge of what sort of porn they are into. Not sure what I expected.
Magpie never recovered after the failed sequal to D.O.T.S that was D.O.m.S. not only was he ill at ease in Taz's shoes but he was just not willing to do what was needed to earn that capital letter.
It's a shame @Lewis thought he was too big for us. D.O.L.S could have been huge.
I don't recall being invited.
Your PA assured me she asked you.
I don't even remember what that was.
It was an offshoot of 'Team Idiot' made up of Dquincy, Offshore Toon, Taz and Me AKA D.O.T.S. Heady days. What an age.
Can't have been that 'heady' with you involved.
Magpie was ace. I don't think I had him on my MSN but he was on the one Mike, The Reid and I used when playing FM and we used to talk to him all the time.
Speaking of which, does anyone use Discord?

How do you get comment karma?
Everything seems to go on post karma.

Post comments in other people's threads and hope they vote for it.
Post karma is for threads you make yourself.
Someone gimme some? Need ten, on eight.

You'll get banned for vote manipulation if someone reports your post here
I threw you an upvote though.
Yeah I guessed since that account had 8 comment karma.
Yeah I'm not sure, might take a while to update?
Could the auto-mod removal have something to do with it?
Oh yeah. Post a link to something and I'll comment on it and you kind gents can "up" it?

Why are you so desperate for 10 Karma?
Read the Auto-moderator note in that thread...

Should have gained us some members really.
Upvoted a few random comments of yours but doesn't seem to have done anything.
Snide dickery from Baz. I am astonished.
Upvotes don't translate 1:1 into karma, that's why.
I browse Reddit a lot, but I don’t know if I use it to its full potential. I have 4 or 5 subs, and I pretty much just browse my homepage of all the posts together, reading or looking at whatever interests me. I rarely browse my subs individually.
Do other people use it differently? How do you ever find anything if you have loads subreddits?
I dont have a whole lot of subreddits but I go and view them all individually after viewing the front page.
Threw you a few upvotes Baz.
Got to agree the UI is ugly, the posting order is unintuitive for those that have been forum-ing for a decade or more, and er... Well it's full of Harold's isn't it?
UI is not too different from 4chan's
Is Reddit still shit or has something changed?
What makes it a jumbled mess like? If you think of everything you see in a subreddit as a thread, where threads are default sorted by upvotes instead of most recent post, it's really simple
Probsbly because if you consider it that way, there are absolutely millions of sub forums, and it’s a bit overwhelming looking for a “subreddit” I’m interested in reading the threads.

Okay, but when there's 100 posts a minute there's not really any alternative. You're not meant to "get to know people" on reddit is i think the main difference
I don't want to get to know anyone, I just like these things in chronological order.
Is it not all just like-whoring because of the way it works anyway?
It's definitely a huge hivemind and in the bigger subreddits clickbait predominates
You can put it in chronological order.
Just click 'New'.
It's just a different format than your traditional forum, having an actual discussion in a thread is terrible especially a popular one. It works best as a place to read (hence the name) but you can have a conversation through your own feed as people reply to your posts.
I also find Reddits just terrible for discussion anyway as the nature of upvotes leads conversations to be 'This is the worst thing ever' or 'No it's the best thing ever'
