Dammit now I have to watch the highlights before work today.....although the injury to Berry is a bummer

I was going to lol at the Pats but I'm more worried about the Chiefs being in our division if that score is anything to go by.
Big Andy's Arrowhead Express rollin' again.
Patriots looked a bit stale but i think it's just how they threw the team together. Cooks is going to have a field day once he develops a rapport with TB12.
The chiefs were a good team last year so it's not that much of a shocker.
Anyone bet on American football regularly? College football seems to be a bunch of mis matches with low odds on the money line that tend to come in as predicted a large proportion of the time.
Although, I quite fancy Stanford to upset USC this weekend but have "played safe" and taken the standford +6 route.
He did indeed, fair play to the lad.
He picked himself up well from it.
Not a bad debut, that.
Chiefs problem last year was they ran out of steam. I believe all their points against the Steelers were from Boswells boot.
Berry is done for the season which wont help their cause.
Only for people like Foe.
Well, that was a pretty good way to start the season - Chiefs spent half the game actively trying to lose too.
Alex Smith throwing the ball downfield Also threw about fifty shovel passes to Hill, Kelce & Hunt, mind.
I was sort of thinking the same watching it back. One of those you don't know how they won by such a scoreline. Their offense is infuriatingly conservative to watch at times.
I don't even really know what the Patriots did wrong, other than give up two big pass plays & loads of rushing yards.
Actually, nevermind.
I knew you lot would hate it.
Also watched the last Hard Knocks episode. The McNichols saga was quite odd to watch.
He's here, but he's not signing...
I'm really over looking for gammy streams these days, so when does it normally appear on Gamepass?
Elliott has got off.
So, I've found a handful of row 500 tickets for the Saints/Dolphins game online for about £100. Buy or don't buy? Anyone going to that game?
I'm also trying to resist temptation to drop £200 on NFL merch
I've caved & bought them. Tickets had a nice fuck you fee not included, so that was lovely, but I got a 15% off voucher for the merch, so that covered the extra costs of the ticket.
This week has quite probably been the most expensive week of my life
What march did you buy?
I'm trying to justify about $400 on a signed jersey. That's before customs and the cost of framing.
Pristine Auction seems to pop up whenever someone talks about signed stuff lately, you tried looking at them?
A couple of the guys from work have managed to bag free tickets to the Jags v Ravens game through the Sky VIP app. Jealous is not the word...
Michael Thomas jersey, Brees colour rush jersey, Saints bobble hat & colour rush scarf. Bloody order sat for 15mins processing though, so I'm not sure if it's gone through or not. Have emailed them so hopefully I'll hear back fairly promptly.
Pristine Auction comes up a lot on some of the football podcasts I listen to. They sound like they'd be way cheaper for signed merch, but I've never actually looked at the prices to confirm that.
Pristine Auction website is an abomination. Fuck that.
You're a saints fan then.
That would seem likely, yes.
I've got an early quad of Cardinals -2.5/Steelers -8.5/Ravens + 3/Falcons -6 and a late double of Colts +4.5/Panthers -4.5.
Also gone in big on the Panthers -4.5 as a single and a little bit on Maxx Williams to score a TD for the Ravens today.
Ha I was just looking to see what bets you were going to put on.
I've gone Ravens + 3, Denver, Minnesota, Carolina, Detroit +2.5.
I actually think both the Ravens and Detroit will win, but I've taken the spread anyway. I suspect AP will score against Minnesota tonight though and Minnesota were average against the rush last year so that's where they could be undone. Snead is suspended though and New Orleans traded away Cooks so Minnesota should just load the box.
Saints/Vikings is tomorrow night.
I'm hopeful that we'll keep it close tomorrow, although I'm not sure how we're going to stop Dalvin Cook & Stefon Diggs - hopefully the new linebacking corps & Marshon Lattimore will be able to give us a nice boost. Michael Thomas will probably see Xavier Rhodes most of the game, but he's got enough about him to still be able to have a good game, particularly if he works inside more, and Ted Ginn can run past anyone, so he'll probably get at least one chance to drop a long TD.
Being optimistic, I'll say we win 20-17, but it's a pretty tough game to call & I could easily see Minnesota putting 30 on us if the defence doesn't hold up.
I think we'll win too but I wanted a bit of room.
Jimmy Smith is fit and he is usually able to lock down AJ Green and out defence as a whole looks seriously good.
Offence is a bit more of a mystery though, Flacco has been struggling with his back and our offensive line is muddled due to injuries.
FFS. Well done Foe.
Also chucked a double of Peterson/McCaffrey TD.
San Francisco were shocking against the run last year and McCaffrey is just a freak of an athlete, so every expectation he's going to tear them apart. AP just because.
Quite interested to see how the Browns play this year. So fucking happy the season is back.
College football is pretty boss too. Watched Oklahoma v Ohio State this morning - Ohio looks pretty average and it's a shame the California QBs are about otherwise Baker might have a legit chance at the Heismann.
I've also got £5 on McCaffrey to be the first Panther to score a TD and £5 on him to score 2 or more.
Completely forgot about the weapon that is David Johnson at Arizona. Fuck.
Titans opening with a failed onside kick
That was brilliant by Wentz.
San Fancisco have improved their run defence just by drafting Reuben Foster, who already looks like a stud. They've put a lot of high picks into the defence in the last few years, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're a lot better this year.
Proper quality, Big Ben type stuff, that was
Woodhead injured, by the look of it.
Fantastic block by Delanie Walker to let Mariota stroll in.
Can't even go a quarter without an injury.
Already listed as doubtful so he's done for the day at least.
That counts as an Agholor fumble, right?
EDIT: Allen Robinson ruled out too. All going wrong for @Browning.
Detroit doing everything in their power to fuck things up.
The Texans also struggling is concerning.
Brownings hate/hate relationship of Robinson continues.
Ryan Shazier blowing up Kizer as he slides
Cardinals have 29 yards of offence, and 10 points.
Mother fucking CJ Mosley
2 picks and a sack already for our defence.
Seems that they've all graduated from Suggs's Ball So Hard University.
How the fuck did Michael Crabtree catch that?
EDIT: Ronald Darby fucked his ankle off the ball - looks like he'll be out a while.
