I do like how the entire stage setup for Owens' new entrance is the big picture of him as Captain America.

Greatest theme of all time?
Not a chance.
It's this and only ever this.
I was going to post last night as I watched Raw but as much as I like Braun Strowman, wtf was he doing in a dumpster match with a masked midget and then pushing him off the stage in it which was probably half the size of said midget.
The card for WWE RAW Payback looks weak.
Orton versus Wyatts looks like a safe bet if you want to waste a network subscription on it. I'm still not sold on Strowman's feud with Boo Reigns. It doesn't help the fact that Reigns is being kept off screen for most of the feud despite his recent family loss.
I remember the New Age Outlaws pushing Cactus Jack and Terry Funk off the stage in a bin and it seeming like the maddest thing ever.
I'm not sure about that, there's at least four people in that picture with entrances that I like more.
Edit: The glass breaking for Stone Cold was great but the song that came after was terrible.
The only way that Orton and Wyatt storyline works is if we finally get sister Abigail. It's a perfect chance too given the family has kind of disbanded.
Maybe not a mouthpiece as Bray doesn't need that but a dark and mysterious sidekick who plays head games with the roster in the name of Wyatt.
That was what popped in my head too when the commentators were saying it was the first ever dumpster match. Turned out it was the first one ever on Raw but it was still a bit shit. Strowman smashes through everyone but Kalito(?) got the better of him? Nah. Not having that. He also shouldn't have told the fans he doesn't like them as he'd have been a great 'tweener'.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the infamous WeeLC match from Extreme Rules 2014.
It was strangely awesome.
Hulk Hogan obviously has the best theme, and his nWo music was the perfect choice too.
1. Hogan
2. Shawn Michaels
3. Stone Cold
4. Hollywood Rock
5. Grado
Legion Of Doom's used to get me.
"Whaaaaaaaatarushhhh!"
Ha. I was just watching this, and that music started as I was reading your post
They just don't make them like they used to. Vadar.
Still a sucker for the Big Show's original theme, but I dunno whether that's because the whole thing is actually good or if it's just got a quality start, which is the main thing with entrance music.
The Rock's music was always really shit, other than the start bit, on an objective level and yet somehow it worked.
Loads of the top guys at the moment have music that's just utter shite.
That's so right. The first few notes are so important for those moments where they make a surprise return or interfere in a match.
Actually, a question has just hit me - does the Big Show sing his own theme? It certainly sounds like him. But it could be another Nicholas Lyndhurst in Only Fools situation.
The likes of Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins/Kevin Owens.Miz/Ziggler have crap openings and therefore crap themes. I'd say the only people with decent themes that aren't old school are Nakamura and Balor. Bray's is pretty good too, actually.
Jim Johnston was the man behind the themes.
I actually wouldn't mind finding that Signature Sounds DVD.
Yeah I know he writes/composes them, but I didn't realise he did all of the vocals too.
There I was looking for a torrent file.

Jesus fucking Christ this Ziggler and Nakamura promo is tough to get through.
The best theme is obviously "Ass Man".
The first time was the best time as it was so unexpected.
@Queenslander NJPW World have put up Omega and The Young Bucks vs those three geeks at Rev Pro Epic Ecounter from a few weeks back. I've only watched half so far but it's amazing. Get on it.
Cheers mate Ill try and watch it tonight. Do you follow the Elite YouTube page?
After looking through WWE's social media it seems that Roman Reigns is over in a big way with the Sub-Continent folj and the Arabs.
"Great Balls of Fire"? Fucking "Great Balls of Fire"? Great fucking Balls of fucking Fire?
Jesus Christ, WWE.
What's going on?
WWE are having a Raw PPV called "Great Balls of Fire."
Baroque will be defending the title at it but let's not let that distract from the fact that they're calling it Great Balls of Fire.
Goodness. Gracious. Michael Cole will get that in at every opportunity.
It's just a name change from what would otherwise have been Bad Blood but yes, let's not take away from the fact that Great Balls of Fire is a ridiculous name but who knows....it could spell the return of someone....

Be careful. There's some shocking fails thereafter. Init 'Kev'.
Ric Flair can steal the rest of the song at last.
Third and forth wrestlers for the WCPW Japan qualifiers are Bushi and Takahashi!
Any of you blokes going to that show?
.....
Wyatt - Non-title so he might get the win, immaterial though as the only interesting thing about this is what the match will actually be and how terrible can it get.
Bayley - Could go either way but I feel like they should leave it on Bayley for a bit.
Owens - All day long.
Neville - Via shenanigans involving his little man-slave.
Hardyz - Too early to drop it for me.
Rollings/Jeff - No idea, haven't been watching Raw. Hopefully Jeff.
Reigns - You don't bet against Roman.
Club - I don't really care.
.....
Lowering the stakes for Wyatt/Orton for the last match of the feud is a bold move.
Rollins / Jeff may actually be a rare instance of a match not being ruined by an even finish because they could both really do without losing at this point. If push comes to shove Rollins probably suffers less through losing. Also WWE do shit finishes even when the match doesn't call for them which sours me on the idea somewhat.
Jeff losing via DQ for walloping him with a chair or something would serve everyone pretty well.
And then he transforms into Willow.
Not that Jeff.
Incidentally I didn't see any stories about WWE scrambling for the rights to his other alter-egos like WIllow and the weird one with an umbrella(?). Funny that.
.....
Who was the other one then? He had a mad accent and glasses, possibly a hat.
While I went for the non-stop thrillfest that I watched the Bate / Gallagher title match off this week's NXT. Enjoyed it and I was surprised they were alloiwed to keep it so relatively low-pace for the most part but the crowd did start to get into some of Gallagher's unusual (and painful-looking) submissions which was good.
Onto Payback 2014 now.... I dunno if this will be me caught up but I'm very nearly there. It opens with a really, really good little match with Cesaro and Sheamus where it's high pace pretty much from the top.
EDIT: This Table for 3 with Nash / HBK / Styles is really suffering, compared to the best episodes, for the three not all knowing each other that well.
WCPW was fantastic again tonight. So much so I can't lower myself to WWE.
So when can we expect your review of Payback?
I've not watched any of the WCPW stuff yet. How did their Rumble work? Was it along the lines of the Royal Rumble or just a battle royal?
