Dquince will mourn the death of yahoo answers
The liberal TTH elite just bully Quincy to make themselves feel better.
Him being a dickhead most of the time hasn't helped.
My interest in this place waned a lot when Bruh felt like he was bullied into stopping posting.
I'm a twit
I bring great chat to this place time after time and this is how I'm appreciated.
I'm like Van Gogh, the realisation of my greatness will happen once I'm gone.
quincey and bruh are perfectly pleasant people, just oddballs in their own way. i find their strange style of posting something of a nice contrast, if only for their amusing mentalness.
Except Bruh was a fucking tit.
I quite liked him, really. It helped that my mental image for him was Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
I found him grand too. He was as inoffensive as it gets, though he had no reason for such a meltdown.
Bruh was fine, but he had comically thin skin. I'd quite like to see him back but if less of him means less of Baz I'll take that trade.
Why did he go again?
Did he leave because of the thread title change? He was alright, but that's nowhere near bullying. That kind of behaviour helps to understand why Spoonsky wears a beret.
He made a thread about European politics and loaded the OP up with pictures of Marine le Pen's daughter so I changed the title to 'sponsored by Bruhnaldo's incompetence' and he took the whole thing very fucking srsly indeed. He edited the OP to say 'PHONICS IS A CUNT' six million times and left.
I can't believe phonics would bully him off the board like that.
This place does suit a certain type of person. That person I am not.
It's very cliquey here, which is ironic considering it's in need for new members (or old ones coming back).
I'll wait for the insults now...
That's always been the reason, even on the old board, that there tends to be very few new posters. For all the talk of way to get more, they get ripped a new one when they do post. The cliquey thing only grows stronger with time and lack of new posters too, though since the move there's been a lot less of that.
I wouldn't say it was cliquey at all. The opposite in fact; everyone is fair game.
i think people were a bit unnecessarily mean to Bruh at times, but it looked like he was learning to take it on the chin a bit more (which would eventually lead to people not bothering). bit of a shame that after a few times he'd have been justified to be a bit miffed, he lost the plot over something really stupid and innocuous.
Cause you're a cunt (see?)
Love that what will go down as my greatest own had nothing to do with me outside of saying 'lol'.
TTH hasn't been cliquey for years, probably since Whizz and JPA fronted the Neighbours crew.
We're all just older and more boring now and the one thing that was always a constant (football) is something that people lose a good bit of interest in with age. The forum seems to revolve around an obsession with Donald Trump and the EU referendum now, which on a personal level makes the place absolutely worthless to me for the most part these days. In the long term, two threads wonts sustain it for everyone else either even if they are interested.
Ok, I was wrong about cliquey.
You make far too much of the amount of political talk that goes on. The Trump thread has had about fifteen posts in it this weekend and none since this morning, the UK politics thread even longer than that, and the EU referendum thread hasn't seen action in about six months.
Those three threads combined, by the way, make up less than ten percent of the total posts.
I'm counting the UK Politics thread as the 'brexit' thread, I don't know what else does be going on up or over there, and I didn't know there was even a specific one.
You're also taking things as a whole with your 10% but things have regressed big time of late. Can you pull the same % for the past month?
Taking only the past month would wipe the three thousand posts in the EU thread off the register so the percentage would be even lower.
Can we create a new state of the board thread to discuss how downhill the posting has went in the last 20 minutes.
There's been far less posts overall in the past month though, things have tailed off massively. The Trump and UK Politics seem to be constants at the top with unread posts when you log on though.
It's fine like, people are into what they're into and it's all part of getting old for most, but I was just explainingy own lack of interest lately.
State of the board threads aren't what they used to be.
Think Giggles has it well summed up.
If I do leave this place, I hope it won't upset too many people.
If the board has less of what interests you, introduce some more of what interests you. It might stick, it might get ignored, or it might get lolled out of town and generate some tee hee. Either way, anyone moaning from the sidelines that they haven't been able to as many posts this week can fuck off.
If you create a thread, especially in this climate, everybody will likely post at least once in there. Whether it's to engage with the topic or it's because Kikó is a tory that thinks washing clothes is washing up is another matter.
False news.
Dquincy has left about 10 times over the years. He loves it more than Harold does.
