Jordan Henderson to Atletico - £16.25M
Season Summary
I knew we would be fine without Sturridge and Mane given the performances from Origi and Harker last season and I would be proved correct as both hit 59 between them.
I caved in with Divock and gave him the deal he requested.
Harker continues to develop well enough and is only 12-18 months of hitting his stride I imagine.
No England call up as of yet but he will I'm sure. Perhaps it's my own fault for having him as a target man. One who has managed the feat albeit without starting is our number one, Luke Hunter. Alongside his partners in crime Joe Gomez and Andre Wisdom who have both joined him.
This season is probably the best we've had for blooding in youngsters and most the biggest earners are gone now.
I tried finding an earlier version of Woodburn but I can't without loading up an earlier save but midwrite up that can't happen. I will confirm shortly but I'm sure he's improved in the star compartment. I was borderline writing him off only 18 months ago.
Moving on though.
Man United once again won the Premier League but our position in third was a comfortable one. We barely challenged for the title although I reckon we would have been if we didn't have that nonsense cup in December.
Domestic cups were a bit of a let down this season.
Painful. Oscar equalised in stoppage time before De Sciglio grabbed the winner in ET.
One of the "four" countries we visited in in the month long run of bollocks fixtures.
Disappointing.
The other nonsense cups were annoying as were the results in the season openers.
But none more disappointing than our final game of the season.
It would be a repeat of last seasons final. Manchester City should have been worried given we'd had their number on a few occasions.
But no.
Frustrating overall but the small positives are obviously the increased number of youngsters playing first team football.
I have a few more I'm hoping to give a chance for the upcoming season.

I'll do the full first team before the opening game. Quite honestly I'm surprised that I'm doing so well bu
Dybalolz might get 100 goals for me this season![]()
I just checked him up on my game (Dec 2017) when a press item came through saying City were weighing up a £176 million bid, Jesus Christ. He must be the best player on the game.
Arsenal have both him and Icardi on my save now and they tear me a new arse hole every time. I should really just send the reserves out against them.
He's fucking serious in mine too. Ended up at Arsenal and always seen PSG were sniffing at around the €140m mark.
How much did Arsenal pay for him on your games?
I want him for United.
I'm a twit
Asenal paid £74m for Dybala on mine.
Heh.

Was just seeing who the most valuable players on mine are (Griezmann, Neymar, Martial, Pogba, Renato Sanchez, Dybala); still can't get over West Ham's £94m RAID for Renato Sanchez.
Yeah I may or may not have paid nearly a quarter of a billion quid for Dyabala once you include all the add-ons...
I'm guessing I should expect PSG to swoop this summer then.
After a quiet 2017 gaming the FIFA rankings with a series of friendly wins (and draws, and losses) against other Caribbean islands, no sooner does the next Caribbean Cup come around (and a first round group with Curação and the US Virgin Islands) than I randomly get offered interviews by Hull, Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday in the space of a week. I didn't set my reputation that high so it seems a bit odd. Anyway, Pards beat me to the Hull job but if one of the others comes in I'll give it a go alongside my Antigua duties.
Maybe the ability to see off St Kitts & Nevis 3-2 is just what you need in northern Championship football.
Mauro Icardi on mine. Also at PSG.
Marquinhos, Barbosa, Di Maria, Pastore, Dybala, Icardi, Thiago Silva, Saul...£728M spend since the start of the game and not once have they got past the first round knock outs.Dear me.
19/20 season over and our third back in the Premier League sees us finish 13th. Which is a bit shit, but with the League Cup win I'll take that.
Our average attendances seem to have plateaued at the 30k mark, and given we have a 33k seater stadium I can't see the board allowing us to build a bigger one until we've increased the fan base. So with that in mind, and £120m in the bank, this might finally be the summer we spend big.
Eric Dier is the most mental transfer I've seen on this version. £104m to City. He's not even that good.
Yeah, I know, I really haven't been able to bring myself to do it.
I love having a wage structure of £50k a player max, and spending the WARCHEST would completely fuck that.
Wiegl kicked off at not being allowed to go to Man City. Sold him for 40 million and raided Arsenal for Ramsey for 50. Brought in Matthew Ryan from Valencia to keep nets as Weidenfeller is retiring, the biggest issue being here that he's my captain and the closest thing I have to one after that has 12 for Leadership.
Chelsea finished 7th and have sold Eden Hazard for 60 million quid. I could never get Hazard for 60 million quid. I hate negotiating with the AI.
I went to search for a backup keeper in preseason and I still had the all players 'unattached' filter set. Top of the list was a 23 year old Martin Odegaard and he's come in as a backup. Scouting seemed ok but I take it he doesn't fare out much in this version. Also picked up some guy called Marcus Edwards who plays for Cyprus that the scouts liked. Had been released by Spurs.

I looked at Ryan as well. Ended up buying Timo Horn from Cologne instead, but he wasn't all that.
Passlack had very good captaincy stats for me.
I've taken the Wigan job. Totally bankrupt and two points above the relegation zone with six games to go. I think I might game it a bit by signing cheapo Antiguan players so they have good training facilities and coaching![]()
Dybala needs 15 in 4 - which would be astounding even for him - so he's not gonna get his 100.
Unluckers.
Bloody Renato Sanchez has just scored a 35 yarder against me for West Ham![]()
I just want photographic evidence that this save exists.
We'll be saving nearly £2,000,000 a month once the loans are paid off. The biggest goes in four years although surprised it hasn't been paid off already given our financial strength.
I still don't understand it all though.

Jesus.
Go on Smiff, time for a spending spree.
I can't. I have plans.

Do they have Anfield as extended to 54 or 58,000?
Lol at West Ham about to be worth more than both the Spanish giants.
Forgot to take any goalkeepers and only have 2 defenders at my training camp. Great start! (I took 34 players too.)
I'm a twit
Gelsenkirchen eurgh sort ya shit out mahow
I always forget to do the name fix.
Posted in the wrong thread, that did my head in until I realised there's two threads here for FM. So;
Fired up the game for the first time with Gillingham.
Basically Kent are shit when it comes to football teams. We have a host of teams in non-League football (Dover, Ebbsfleet, Maidstone, Margate, Folkestone) but only Gillingham have spent any real time in the League.
Right off the bat, three things I noticed;
1.) About half of my defence is on loan and my best goalkeeper, Jonathan Bond is on loan for 6 months from Reading. My contracted keeper, Stuart Nelson is both old and shit.
2.) The 35 year old Paul Konchesky is my best defender. What the fuck.
3.) Bradley Dack is worth £5.5m and is immediately under interest from Newcastle and Villa
So I immediately sold Dack for £4.4m because frankly that kind of money can't be turned down in League One. He's the best player in the Gillingham squad and he's a good young talent but he's not worth keeping when I get that kind of offer.
Squad is pretty mediocre however and the board want a top-half finish so I'll need to get the cheque book out. Pressing concerns are a goalkeeper, central defender, a replacement for Dack and a striker.

I can't quite figure out how to use him.
He's just an out and out poacher, and bang average with it.
Kept them up:
And took them through to the final round
We now have to overcome Curação and Haiti for a place in the next Gold Cup, which is definitely odds against because they're both better than us and have better players, but it's not completely out of the question like if we'd drawn Jamaica, so it's a pretty good draw. I play 4-2-4 with Antigua to try and just score a few and overcome the fact that my best centre half is this dude:

Wigan, however, are utterly bankrupt and I basically can't sign anyone more than discarded youths, so it'll be a case of trimming the fat and trying to balance the books.
So I confess. I reloaded numerous times hoping to get my son again, thought I managed it. No such luck but obviously you've got to check the supposed best of a generation.
Holy. Shit.

Needless to say my son can get bent, this ones a beaut.

GKS Katowice - 2030/31 season:
Transfers out:
Only 'Marc Ayuk' was shown the door this year, £7.5m and 50% next sale which will pay off nicely. He's now worth £23.5m and only 21.
Transfers in:
Only £2.5m, he'll probably never make our first team but will make us some nice profit.
£6m and I think he can be good but I'm not sure where or how.
£21m which is a bit high but Schalke hate us. Geezer looks like he could be shit hot though.
Domestic:
Standard.
Europe:
Little shaky in the group and we only scraped through by 1 point over Dortmund but once we got to the knockout stages we showed our real class. 2-1 against United in Champions League finals now. Kone was shit hot finishing as the top scorer.
Squad stats:
I wanted someone to really take over from Ndiaye as no one really did that last year. Kone decided it was his time and had a better ratio than Ndiaye ever had in a season. The guy was just unstoppable at times.
Currently £20m in the hole and we're predicted to be in deeper shit so I'll have to sell this year. I've earmarked Campagna, Tom Smith, Melih Ayaz and Greg Kuczynski. They've been important pieces of our team for a while now but the youth in our squad took a real step up this year.
Liverpool - Season 2020/2021
Arguably our toughest campaign to date and required a tactical change things got to bad. Thankfully the switch paid dividends but I don't know how much longer we can keep this up for.
Origi found himself with a new strike partner for much of the season but once again ended it as our top goalscorer. He's more than a 1 in 2 striker with 125 in 257. I bowed down and gave him the bumper deal though.
His partner in crime was the ever improving Ben Woodburn who completed a career best and gained an England cap in the process.
Woodburns form has seen Wes Harker dropped to the bench and he really struggled this season. He's classed as a wonderkid and gained a cap for England in the European Championships but the emergence of Pilkington means he's got to take a step forward. I might only get around this by selling Origi.
Our start to the season got off to an absolute nightmare.
But the fightback was to be admired given the age and inexperience of those in the squad.
Tottenham to their credit were dominant throughout.
We found this out in the EFL Cup.
In the FA Cup we were eliminated by the worst team possible.
They beat us in the Premier League too. Rooted to the bottom of the table, of course they were going to win 1-0 at Anfield.
Finally a third Champions League final looked on the cards.
Until Flanno fucked it.
A few of the youngsters.
Our number one.
Huw hasn't featured much but long term I'm hoping he fills the full back slot.
With this chap on the other side. He's on loan at Ipswich atm and hasn't developed a great deal.
I'm hoping we can start getting some centre backs as that's an area we're weak in.
Grujic is just amazing.
His average rating increasing each season.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is doing better than expected. He's got four caps now too.
I'm hoping to get a bit more out the Bishop next season as he's in danger of not living up to his potential. We're blessed in the attacking department which doesn't help his cause.
Lastly...

Do I splash out? There's so many tasty looking newgens around.
I think Dortmund are cursed. I am now suffering from exactly what Jim suffered from. Hertha Berlin just scored 3 in the first 30 minutes. Moussa Dembele has twice as many goals as Aubameyang. My plan is to hold my head above water and hopefully do something in the Champions League while waiting for one of the big boys in England to get sacked. Bielsa has turned up at Chelsea and sold off every decent player they have which sounds fun.
Is there a way for me to keep up to date on certain clubs job security so I know when to pounce?
Around December second season, Auba just switched off completely all of a sudden, and so did the team. It was remarkable.
