Messi making a complete cunt of Scott Brown.
Messi making a complete cunt of Scott Brown.
Barcelona and Man City (barring a huge goal difference turnaround) through.
Leicester, Monaco, Besiktas, Copenhagen and Lyon going through would make things more interesting (the first two having already qualified).
Goal difference first.

Why are Arsenal second with 11 points and +9, behind PSG with 11 points and +6 then?
I haven't a clue.
I guess the UEFA pdf must be out of date, or at least that's implied by the tables everywhere and the media saying Spurs are out.
In other news, Neymar might (almost certainly won't) go to prison: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/...linkname=sport
That says head to head first and goal difference sixth, although clause E seems unbelievably vague. A to D are in reference to group games played between the two sides, and E says if they're still even after that the same criteria should be used in reference to group games played between the two sides.
It working that way explains the PSG/Arsenal thing though, since two draws mean they have the same points from those games, the same goal difference and the same goals scored in total, but tonight's two each means PSG have more goals away from home.
To me it looks like: 17:01 a) goal difference in general, then e) head-to-head.
Although given what all the media's saying you're probably right.
The wording is shit, either way.
Benfica are listed ahead of Napoli on the thing I'm looking at, with a worse goal difference and a worse head to head record. Life is sometimes confusing.
Yeah I guess.
I heard this story earlier and was absolutely stumped at how this was possible, like some joke team were playing an 8 year old for the lols and then I realised what year it was and nearly threw myself in front of the oncoming tram.
I don't find that sort of thing that surprising any more. 2000 was fucking yonks ago.
Managed to get a ticket for tonight
Be interesting to see how they fare after a long layoff since the season finished.
These Barca guys and prison, eh? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/...linkname=sport
Christ, Rooney has actually scored and it wasn't a mistake.
He's back?
Genuinely sickening that he's our top scorer in Europe over Ruud.
Let's not forget that 'Ruud' was a fanny who fell out with everyone.
Sickening Fuck up Mahow
More than double to get it, at least that softens it.
Good going for a midfielder.
As suspected the break didn't do Dundalk much good. A lot of the intensity was gone and they were probably better playing games every 3 days. Bound to be a bit of a let-up when your season ends too.
Still though, still a chance of qualifying going into the last round of games. Couldn't have asked any better than that.
The ref in the Liverpool-Sunderland game (David Ellery, I think), seems to get in the way (literally) of every one of our attacks. He just stands right in the middle of the last third, blocking passes far better than any Sunderland midfielder.
This has got 1-0 Sunderland with an 89th minute winner from Defoe written all over it.
Yeah, we're looking fairly predictable at the moment.
This. At least 3/4 times.
This. It's obvious.
As above.
Coutinho didn't look too good so hopefully nothing serious. Mane is playing the worst so far but aye, shit so far. Win though and it's a sign of....
Sunderland have been good defensively.
I'd go for broken foot for Coutinho, maybe ankle at worst. Hopefully it wasn't his shin bone either.
Get Ejaria on. Mane's been crap. Just run at them, man.
I remember @niko_cee saying a few weeks ago that Can loves a touch or three. He really does. Just fucking keep it moving.
This fucking annoying commentator on Talksport insists on calling Origi, Divoak Origi and Denayer, Denier.
Swansea game sounds mental.
Pardew surely has to go before dinner.
5-4 ffs. Just got out the car and it was 3-1 Swansea.
Klopp <3. It's hard to think of many managers we've had who would get away with that. Good win even if we weren't at our best.
Swansea match is absolutely bonkers.
We're mortal again. It's been due. Quarter Final on Tuesday. Shrug it off, lads.
Fucking freezing at the game today and we were terrible barring the two great goals from Dodoo.
Pardew freeing himself up for the England job.
A good day in the end.
Murray.
Woof. Beast of a strike that from Eriksen
Karius puts a goal kick out for a corner. Let that sink in for second.

It must've been a long time since I've seen a top team find it so difficult to string three passes together in the opposition half.
Gylfi is such a god.
Let this sink in. He clearly tried passing it to Clyne but fucked up however if that's the best you've got then give up. He's been improving each game and was generally solid today, good couple of important game changing saves too. Give the guy some credit. I already feel more at ease with him, Lovren and Matip than with Mingolet at the back.
The morphing of Victor Moses into one of the world's top wing backs has been a pleasant surprise, to say the least.
He's a poor man's Antonio Valencia.
