That's what I'm rolling with. Tempted to switch Gray for one of the Southampton strikers, but couldn't pick one. If Sanchez isn't likely to play then I'll go for Iwobi or Ibe and just keep the money in the bank for when he starts.
Hazard as the vegetarian option is fun.
Sort of got a team together, although I don't really have much idea. Is there anything in the fact that the entire Arsenal team seems to be unlikely to play next week or is that the system being overly cautious? Incidentally, this should be sponsored, Taz-style, by that Grujic kid being the best Serbian in the league this season.
Most players involved in the knockouts of the Euros will be listed as unlikely as they've not long started their pre-season.
I've swapped Cedric, Willian and Giroud for Shaw, Mané and Deeney.
I think I've got a good balance now between high-scoring players and players who will play a majority of their games.
Swapped De Bruyne in for Musa and Ayew in one of those moves you think sounds mega and then old Kevin scores 3 and sets up 2 in the first 2 weeks.
Once again I have absolutely no idea where to start.
I put in Silva instead of KDB.
When is pogba in? And stones on citi? Does his price changes?
I don't think so, Pogba will come in at about 12m I reckon, but Stones price will stay the same until he starts playing well. Same player, just different team.
Players' prices never change when they transfer clubs in Pre-season. Stones might be a good option now, certainly the cheapest bet for City defence.
But besides that, I'm not sure how solid the City defence will be under Guardiola. Always thought of him more as a 4-2than 1-0 kind of guy.
Pogba is Ł8.5m
Surely he isnt going to be playing for a few games given he has only just got back from holiday
Already in? Must buy before his price rises.
I'll hold off. There's no way he's going straight in as Maz says.
*cue hatrick in opening game*
Who the fuck is Jack Brodie and have you considered a career as an Hollywood action movie star?
Pogba at Ł8.5m looks a good value. His price should shoot up after the first few weeks too. I wouldn't be expecting a start from him for a few weeks though.
I see in the rules that if many choose a player , the price increases. So i expect that by Friday is on Ł20.
Oh shit. Really?

OK yeah, thought so.
LOL I always thought it was on performance. Pogba IN.
To be honest, it never seems like a very great idea to buy players just for their potential value increase. I mean it could, but it'll happen based on performance. So what usually happens is some fucker scores a hattrick in the opening round, EVERYBODY buys him, the price goes up 0.3 but then he does fuck all for 10 games. Repeat the first 5-7 rounds at least.
I'm starting with Adrian again, after his calamitous start to last season he can only be on for 5 consecutive clean sheets.
That's not quite right. It's goes up 0.1m every 100k or so in, the amount is changed every season. Also last season there was a maximum swing of 0.3m per game week.
Prices drop based on losing 0.1m for every 10% the ownership goes down. Again capped at 0.3m per season. There are also other rules which effect prices fall to do with wether the player is yellow or red flagged.
As for Pogba unless he gets a big return on his first game I can't see him shooting up in price. He's not good value IMO.
Last season for an all conquering Juve side he got 8 goals and 13 assists in 3000~ minutes, Dusan Tadic got the same returns in 2000~m and is 1m cheaper in FPL.
Personally I think Williams at Everton is better than Stones at City.
Koeman likes that 352 and it suits Baines and Coleman
Yeah but in goal they're still absolutely shocking. I put their terrible defense down to having Tim Howard in there for 6 months and then Roubles more than I do Stones/Martinez.
Forster proved how much a good GK can shoot up a teams average points (Fantasy wise). Those 7(?) weeks and 7(?) clean sheets I got while playing Forster and 2 Southampton defenders saved me.
Why the 50% sell on fee?
I've been tinkering since I made my team and I'm now at this:
Toggle Spoiler
I feel it's well balanced across the board but I still feel like changing it about. It may just be the deadline coming up making me a little jittery.
I've put Pogba as Captain and Mahrez as Vice Captain in what I can only describe this as a complete and utter meltdown on my behalf. Henrikh Mkhititaryan (whoever the hell he is) seems to be my only gamble this season. I feel like I should just lol at myself and get rid of the bench boost straight away.
I have a strikeforce of Negrado, Ighalo and Musa. Mid table beckons then. Fear me
Swapped Walker for Ashley Williams (Koeman's proved he can build a good defence, and Williams will probably score a few over a season) so that I can swap Mané for Mahrez.
I'm was a bit concerned that Mané has Firmino, Coutinho, Wijnaldum, possibly Origi, Lallana and one or two others for competition, whilst Mahrez is going to play every game.
Yep I'm also going to go for Williams.
Got him. I seem to have a really good team...possibly a red herring.
I hate the non-drag and drop though, what the fuck were they thinking? I now have to think, and click a few times before I can make a sub. Stupid.
Changed my team a bit
Schmeichel
Bellerin
Van Dijk
Barragan
Hazard
Cabaye
Feghouli
Mahrez
Aguero
Costa
Deeney
----
Heaton
Cathcart
Grujic
Daniels
Not sure it actually got any better.
I've avoided Mahrez...mistake?
You can still drag and drop, mongo.
No I can't.
Well I can so lol at you.
Chrome?
Damn, maybe that's it.
Tune in next week for more fantasy football banter, sponsored by Mahow and MJ.
I can drag and drop in chrome.
Never used that before.
I'm tempted to start Payat over Mkhititaryan now.
Is Mkhititaryan likely to start?
