That is a factor for sure, but mainly I think it's because Cuadrado is physically in great shape, but leaving out a more defensively capable right-back like Lichtsteiner is not an option in a game like this.Originally Posted by Max Power

It's not hard to believe. The Premier League has become exactly what football leagues should have always been - a competition where all the 20 teams can realistically beat each other at any point, and where every single game counts. It's amazing is what it is.

Allegri's face does scream moron. You can imagine my reaction at his facial expression during the panic press conference when he was appointed after Conte's shock exit. Our director was trying to list his achievements and he was red like a tomato out of embarrassment ... all the while Allegri was there smirking. Props to Allegri for proving everyone wrong, really.
He's said a few days ago that he's not going to leave Juve, so unless Juve force the change of coach, I can't see him going to Chelsea. He'd probably do great there.
English press were saying either Allegri, or Conte himself after the Euros. Conte's a bit too shady for my liking although he would hardly be alone in that if he arrived at Chelsea.
I think I've said before on here that I can't see Conte managing in a country that is not Italian speaking. Maybe Spain, but even that would be a stretch.
They're both damn good managers, I'd take Conte if the team needs to be rebuilt and to create a tough mentality, but Allegri if an immediate challenge for all titles is the goal.
If they do well in the Euros with the joke squad they have that will be a feather in his cap, although based on those qualities you mention then surely Milan is his next assignment.
He's going to Milan when they sort their finances out. He left Juve because he claimed "you can't eat at a €100 restaurant with €10" so I'm pretty sure he wants to be promised that important investments are going to be made after a couple of years of building a base.

I'm the same. I had my expectations pegged at third this season. Automatic qualification to the CL was the dream. Actually winning the title would be a pleasant shock.
It seems that every year some twat (Regista) tips Roma or whoever, and what do you know Juventus win it. You would think they had the best squad by a mile the way they carry on.
When I first started watching Juventus seemed so retro. Now it turns out that Inter was a fad instead.
I can see us losing two or three today. Worst case scenario we go into a two week break ahead of a nice run of fixtures two points clear at the top. If we win I'll spunk all over the sofa.

Yeah I'm thinking the same. For all this media talk of Arsenal's style perfectly suiting Leicester, lots of Mertesacker lol, etc, Arsenal still absolutely walloped them once this season already. I can see today being similar.
The situation favours Leicester but there's always hope we might use a bit of nous and actually counter their tactics.

They didn't really, despite the scoreline. We were better in the first half and they were much better in the second. We should have had three in the first forty-five alone though.
We were naive and really went for them as well as playing the attacking full backs we favoured early in the season. Since that game we've had (I think) the best defence in the league and dropped the attacking full backs.
I still think we'll lose today as Arsenal do have the tools to open us up. But that 5-2 was not the thrashing the scoreline suggests. Probably the most entertaining game of the season for us, actually.
I'm going for a Leicester win. Just can't see Wenger being sensible and telling his full backs to sit. Plus Leicester are just really good.
Trouble is most of those improvements haven't really done anything...
