Now imagine if Kendrick got it in his head procedurally generated music was a cool thing and decided to produce an audio-visual experience out of it. There's maybe 10-15 minutes of it that was good. The rest was just ambient iffyness with knackered time signatures. And I usually love knackered time signatures.

I've only ever seen him once and it was probably just pre-Covid. He was great. Obviously his catalogue is not massive (and this was before he released the most recent album) but he just got people to shout out what they wanted to hear towards the end and he did it. Craig Finn is coming through Leeds at the weekend too actually, I may go. Although it's a Sunday night and I would probably have to solo it. I liked his latest album. Finn solo is pretty solid in general to be honest.
