Are Church shoes a type of shoe, a brand of shoe, or shoes you wear to a Church?

Some quality deals on Asos at the moment. Picked up some Red Wing boots with a massive reduction.

    Bought a coat for £60.

    Toggle Spoiler

I've already got a "big coat" a little poncey bomber jacket, so this will be for in-between.

Yes, you can wear loafers with socks or without socks.

You cannot wear boat shoes with socks.

You can wear sandals with socks if you become that guy.

Black guys especially can get away with anything. There is no margin for us. We're one sock away from looking like paedophiles.

If I wear a hat, any hat, I get lolled at for it being a 'paedo hat'. Meanwhile a black man can spend 40 minutes browsing in shops for a bucket hat, have 60 sexual crimes on his record, and he would just get called 'lit' or 'crah' or whatever other words people make up in order to patronise them.

Or, in the words of my 61 year old mother, 'he's got rhythm'.

I can't pull it off. Socks are crucial. I couldn't leave the house without wearing socks. Even if I wore trainer socks so it appears your not wearing any socks. Its just not a look I want to be affiliated with. After looking at the images, its just not for me. Suede chukka is me.

And you should persevere with the hats, Floyd. Find one that really suits, run with it, and make it your own (I could see a Popeye Doyle pork pie working).

A panama hat. I've always imagined Jimmy in a linen suit looking out over the colonial plantation fields.

I have a 1940s standing in a gutter lighting a cigar sort of hat. I don't know the name for it.

Always fancied being able to pull off a straw number, but my head is too big for most hats.

I bought a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor for £27, down from £70 directly from their website. They arrived and they are fucking massive, easily a 12 (I'm an 11). Not only that, but they feel plasticy, cheap and utter shite. They are going straight back, what the hell happened here?

The weather got good about 10 days after buying it. But boy, those were 10 great days.

I really hate the standard nasty brown gum sole on most trainers. It would be better if the sole colour actually matched the boot.

Those are two big on your feet. I wasn't looking at the nike boots I posted, I was just using the image as an example of the gum sole on that type of boot. Puma are king pins for the gum sole. It ruins the boot.

Boot? If you're going into shops asking for boots it's no wonder you're getting bulky nonsense.

Android Homme trainers are about the most comfortable I've worn in ages.
