Pompeii has always been pretty fascinating. Such a weird event.
I was massively unimpressed with it as a tourist attraction when I went in the summer. Gypo markets and surrounded by slums, and the place itself is packed as fuck.

I wasn't at any others that came close to as bad.
When I went (which, admittedly, was 20+ years ago before everything in existence became MASSIVE) the place was deserted.
Herculaneum was better as well.
