Bought Mkhitaryan and I decided to put the full backs on stay back (had them on default) and it's brilliant now.
3 games won 2-1, lost 2-0 and won 2-0 against 82+ sides (the last 2 were 86 and 87), feels so much better defensively and despite the low scores I'm creating plenty of opportunities on the break but I've shanked a lot/got superkeepered.
I'm also surprised at Fernandinho, I thought he might not be great in the formation but he's thriving.
I'm tempted by the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow, if for no other reason than I want to play Rui Costa at CAM. He's wasted in central midfield.
Having a good CAM with good long shooting and a strong CDM makes that formation great. Legendary difficulty does not produce many wtf moments any more.

I’ll be going big on that +2 Herrera if it’s true. Just switched him out for IF Saul but with a boosted card at the right price I’d definitely switch back or find another slot for him as he’s still a go-to sub. Doubt it is a genuine graphic though given that Gnabri was an LM not a St.
