What was this? I don't remember it.

A while back. Haz went off on a tear about something, and instead of acknowledging him, the rest of the posters in the thread instead just started very obviously ignoring him and talking about the best roller coasters in the country or something instead. It turns out that Haz doesn't respond well to being ignored, and after throwing a tantrum (which everyone continued to ignore because it was getting hilarious), he started spamming the thread with hundreds of posts, each containing dozens of huge images, giant blocks of text from Dawkins or Hitchins or something, and just generally trying to break the board.

But it turns out you can just delete posts, so no harm done. I wasn't even going to ban him until he started trying to break other threads on the board as well. There was a man who did not deal well with being ignored.


EDIT: I think it might have been waterslides rather than roller coasters.

I used to react the same as Smiffy, he's just more tied up in this place than most. Tries something new, or different and when it doesn't work or gets lol answers I can imagine it bothers him a bit. Leedsrevolution - He offered you some good advice in the depression thread a while ago when you were going from a rough time and you basically told him to fuck off because he was mental. I remember he tried to help Magic_Johnson only to get annihilated. Lewis, youre another one. Im sure it was going to result in a fight but he had you spot on when he said you came across as a big time bully. He seemed to work in care jobs a lot so he clearly liked helping others. leedsrevolution - I couldnt give one but I could see why someone like Smiffy might have taken it personally but I might be wrong as I can only comment on what I have read over the years. I have always thought it to be a little bit off when some members have thrown shit at those who have posted stuff in the depression thread and the health one. On one side of the coin it is there own fault for posting personal stuff but on the other side it is supposed to be a community. You know each other well enough to know what the reaction is going to be.

Offshore Toon - In all my years of visiting this forum and the old one who the hell does join in. We waited over a decade for the likes of Davgooner, Fandon and company to post one. One list per page was a good return.
