Kell Brook vs Jesse Vargas, in sheffield at bramall lane on August 27 or September 3. Vargas is the weakest of the current welteright champions. Cant complain about unification bouts, and its a name step compared to brooks last few opponents.

I like groves. He really needs to beat murray. Groves has had three or four world title step ups and has failed every single time. Hopefully he gets a world title shot, wins and then we can get the degeale rematch. Im sitll not convivced about joshua. Im certain he beats Breazeale but i feel the other beats heavyweights such as wilder, fury and klitschko beat him. Breazeale last fight was against a 50 year old amir monsour who he stopped, but it wasnt spectacular. Keith Thurman vs Shawn Porter is a 50/50 fight. That one could go either way.

Canelo vs GGG has apparently been agreed upon with a provisional date next autumn.
What time is Groves Murray likely to start? I'm on a stag do and don't really care about Joshua but would like to see Murray win.

It is allegedly a verbal agreement. They had a written agreement a few months ago that both would take one tune-up fight (amir Khan and dominic wade) and then they would fight. How bad can an ankle sprain really be though? When I was a kid I sprained/twisted my ankle quite a few times playing football, walked it off then carried on playing.
The threshold for what's considered a 'twisted ankle' will be a bit higher for a seven foot professional athlete than for your eleven year old self knocking a ball around the garden.

Decent bouts last night. Everything went as expected in my opinion. I dont think they will put joshua against any of the named heavyweights anytime if they can continue to fill our areas with the current level of competition. Joshua is probably only going to get better. You need to take him out early and i agree with him. Joshua is a champion. Champions shouldnt need warmups. Joshua isnt a prospect anymore. Looks like its at the full 160. Kell has claimed for a while he will be moving up in weight and he does look big outside the ring during off-fights.

Watched that Zeuge (?) fight last night and it really served to emphasise what an absolute miracle it was for Fury to outpoint 'Team Sauerland' in the reich. He looked a capable enough prospect, but the Italian easily won that fight and ended up with 2 drawn cards and a 1 point loss (for an overall majority draw, not sure I've ever seen one of those before). It really is disgraceful. No one in their super-middleweight stable looks like they would stand up against DeGale/Groves/Smith for me, even with big old Arthur getting back to ploughing through nobodies. That said, if you fight them on Germany you essentially have to knock them out.

Rigo broke poor dickens jaw in one round last night. It was the only notable punch that was thrown during 3 minutes. Wilder needs to get to joshua early. Joshua is only going to improve with time. Wilder should really be all over him for his next fight.

A lot of people are claiming becuase brook is bigger than GGG, brook has a chance. Brook cant win this one, getting punched by people ate 147 bounds is different from being punched by a devastating 160 pound beast. GGG is the real deal and I suspect he will stop brook late. I dont think GGG will go in there are try and win the fight early. He has 20+ straight knockouts and i think he is now at 15 middleweight title defends. He wants that b-hop record which stands at 20.
